#31 & #32 - I like the clean look to these and how you use "Family Friendly". It would be great if you could tie into our old logo by using some updated graphic in place of the current "halo" on the logo... unfortunately I don't know the specific way we want that done. I've seen some fairly good examples so far of how artists portrayed that, yet if you can think of a new way, we'd definately be open to it. Also, if it helps in your design to use different colors than that blue and orange (or additional colors), you may do that. Font colors are easy to have the artists change and that will have the least influence in my final vote.
On #32 I like the size better of the 104.7 and the size and color of "Family Friendly". I like the style of font better on #31 but like how the #32 font is italicized. Maybe with the #32 design you could use an italic version of #31 font or something similar. I would also like to put a ".com" in there somewhere. Perhaps it would actually fit on the lower right "leg" of the "n" for the new font? Thanks!
I don't care that much for #56. #58 is a nice, different twist. I definately like the shift from blue and orange, although I'd like to see different color combinations. Maybe throw in a third color? Or maybe some softer color tones? If you use the latter idea, be sure to make sure the logo is visible from a distance. Thanks!
Well, I still think #58 is the better one with the cuved font and I like it's red and orange better too, although thanks for the effort. Could you give me a couple versions of using a shadow effort or outline or something on the logo to make it "pop out" more?
Thank you for your work on our designs. Our final decision on the winner will not be instant as I would like to get further input from my committee. I wanted to be sure that you caught a general message the I just posted on the site:
As the contest is ending in just a few hours... I want to thank everyone who has submitted entries, especially those who have taken my suggestions and done multiple revisions. Although Logo Tournament has some great qualities, it is unfortunate that only one artist can win the contest. WFRN is open to finding additional graphic artists to assist us in designing our promotional products and marketing material. This includes, but is not limited to designing: mailing postcards, billboards, t-shirts, promotional contest logos and especially web banners of varying sizes. If you have an online portfolio of examples of some of these types of graphics and are interested in doing work for us, please email me, Rachelle Brandt at: rbrandt@wfrn.com and use "Logo Tournament" in the email subject.
