Thank you very much for the feedback. Hopefully this bird works better #137. If there is anything else you would like to see, please let me know. Best Regards, Faith
#137 and #139 are both very nicely done. I don't think it is quite the right contemporary/urban tone we are looking for but they are really quite pretty. Thank you!
I am getting feedback from others that they like #137 and #139, but I still think it is too traditional for my taste. Is there any way to work with it to modernize the font a bit and perhaps make the bird look less like a dove? Maybe make it less burgandy and gold and more toward a brighter red and yellow (although full primary isn't necessary)
We like the idea in #186 and #187. Is there a way to:
1. remove the shading 2. move the bird so it is not sitting over the w 3. try to make the bird less dove-like (maybe with less smooth feathers?) Or maybe in a brighter yellow?
We also have been getting feedback from others....who aren't so sure about the bird approach. I still think it could work, but really want to find the right one that can turn into a character (like I see happening with #143 and the like)
#191 is probably the best of its format. Not sure about the length of house we would also like to have the font jump out more, maybe some words mark, easily readable and remembered, not sure what else, you can add the line "Ready When You Are" thanks
We like #206. Can you keep it the same design but make the font a bit stronger? And maybe use a different font for the tag line, too?
Also, could the bird be used anywhere other than the chimney? Maybe that will throw off the balance? Maybe next to the font somehow? I don't know. Just thinking of how to make this stronger and also make the bird look less like chimney smoke from far away! :-)
#215 & #216 Here a couple of options with the font from #206 thickened up and the bird moved and one with a new font and the house removed. If you have any additional thoughts, please let me know. Regards, Faith
I like #221 with the stronger font, the only thing is that the little windows on top of the letter L gives the impression of being an "i" instead of an L, maybe it can me moved a little to the right maybe between the L and the T?. We'd also like to see how it would look like with different background colors
Hi. #267 is really in the running...it is down to 2 designs at this point. We will be making the final decision soon.
Could you resubmit #267 with the black "realty" a bit darker? It looks like a dark grey, not a full black.
Also, I'm curious what it would look like with a slightly taller font.
Finally, can you try some different color combos with #250 and #251? For example, we want to avoid just black, white and yellow (like Century 21) if we can.
Sure, no problem. Are you interested in other color options besides red, black and yellow, perhaps green or blue or are those the colors you want to stay with?
#323, #324, #325, #326, #327 Various color options with the lettering stretched a bit. Please let me know if any of these are what you where looking for or if you had something else in mind. Thanks, Faith
#323 looks much better with the black lettering I like #324 also but would lik to have the yellow much brighter so it is not to be confused with the gold color that Century 21 uses
could we see #325 with a brighter yellow? I know this is going to be an issue with the bird so not sure if you could manage something.
#326 & #327 do not really cut it, also trying to stay away from blue and red color combos since that is the Remax logo
great we have narrowed it down to two designers. We'd like to take a look at #250 with a bit of a brighter yellow and Wen in black, realty in yellow. and if you can then have wen in white, realty in black
nice thanks, we like #336 and #337 (here maybe we can put ready when you are in yellow).
Question:
would it be possible to get #323 (if picked as winner) and then also the different color schemes #336, #337 and #328 from you? and also in which file formats do you provide the files?
As far as the different colors, sure that would be no problem. LT only allows for me to upload an eps (a file used to send to a printing company) and a jpg of the winning design so I would have to send you the others directly. And as far as which file formats, I can send whatever you think you will need. Which would include the original illustrator file, an eps file (either of which can be sent to a printer), a jpg and/or a png (which has a transparent background so you can place it on any color you choose). You can just let me know if you need all or only some of those formats.
Let me know if there is anything else you need, Faith
awesome, thank you. As for the file formats guess we would like each of the logos in all formats, we are not familiar with all the formats but would rather have them in all formats in case it is needed and you can certainly send them directly to me (I will send you the email after I check with my partner). I assume eps format would be for big print jobs (billboards or things like that) We are hoping to select the winner tomorrow and as I mentioned we are down to only 2 designers, you and one other. In any case I will be in touch with you and thanks again for your quick response, it is greatly appreciated it.
That's great, thank you. I appologize, I forget to mention that it's no problem with the other files, but I will need to charge just a bit extra for the file preparation if that is ok with you. Probably about $50 as it is quite a bit of work. Hopefully that is ok with you.
Thanks again, I look forward to your final decision.
although we do understand that this may create a bit more of work we have already come in $50 above the min. requirement of the contest.
What are the file formats that you would provide for us if selected? we simply will need a file we can use to make big ads (billboard) without image being distorted and also smaller ones that will go on letter heads, t-shirts (nothing too big but certainly different sizes).
Also, here are the ones that we like from you: #323, #328, #336 and #340, we would like to get these color variations with the different formats (whichever formats you are required to provide through this site, which I think are EPS and different sizes of JPGs) would this also incur an additional charge from you?
As we mentioned before this is down to 2 designers and is very tight as we still unsure which one we will end up picking. However, we are expecting to pick one in the next few hours as this will end for us today.
I totally understand that you may be on a budget for this project, so if I may make a suggestion.
When you choose the winning logo, you will receive an eps file which is a vector file and can therefore be scaled to any size without losing image quality. The reason this file type is used by LT is because it can be opened by various design programs as opposed to an illustrator file that can only be opened with illustrator. Hope that makes sense.
So my suggestion is that with the eps file you can take it to the printer and they can easily change the colors for you at probably no charge as they are doing so at the time of printing and I would be happy to send you the jpgs of all of the additional color variations so that you may use them as a reference as to which color you would want.
The winning logo would include an eps file, a jpg file and a black and white version of the logo if needed. I would also be happy to include the illustrator file as well if you would like. However, if you would still like me to prepare the files for all the additional color variations, I would have to charge additional for the file preparation.
thanks for the info and just to make sure we understand:
the winning logo you would provide us with would be an eps and a jpg file and a black and white. However, the other color combinations (which we would want) would be only in jpg format? and, if so, what size or sizes would the jpgs be?.
I know i can go from big to small in a jpg but cant do it the other way around. This may be second nature to you but we just trying to make sure we understand
Yes, the winning logo would include an eps file, a jpg and I can also provide a black and white version and the original illustrator file if you would like. The last two files are not required by LT, but I would be happy to include them.
The jpgs of the additional color versions would be for reference to show the printer so they know what colors you want but they would make the changes to the source file (eps or illustrator file) before printing. If that makes sense. You really don't want to use the jpgs for any larger applications such as signs, etc. you would want to go directly from the source file.
Thanks for working out the technical details with my partner. We are ready to finalize our decision. I would like to clarify what we are looking for one more time and confirm everything. Sorry if this is redundant, but I'm not sure I've been able to follow the discussion here.
#323 winning logo: eps, jpg and black and white versions #328 jpg #336 jpg #340 jpg
Can you confirm that getting these to us will or will not be an extra fee?
Yes, that is correct and those would not incur any additional fee. I can also include the original illustrator file for #323 if you would like as well.
Hopefully it is clear, but please let me know if you have any other questions.
