Wayworks IncLogo Design Contest

Wayworks Incorporated is just a generic name to represent my company that has various business interests. It does not have any special meaning nor is it targeted to any specific audience.

I need a logo that works in black or grayscale because it will be used on letterhead and invoices. So the logo can be either a) just grayscale, or b) colorful but with a grayscale option. If it has colors, I'm flexible but like the idea of something possibly incorporating some combination of orange, red, and black? Or maybe gold and black? But I'm open to anything that looks pretty, including just black.

I like the idea of a round crest with a bird with big wings inside. The inspiration is a phoenix rising - if you're not familiar with that concept, just Google "phoenix rising" or "phoenix rising logo" images (I've included some below). The phoenix is a majestic mythical bird that rises from the ashes (but I don't need the fire imagery in my logo). If possible, I would like each wing to slightly resemble a W (for Wayworks) or at least have a W hidden in the wings somehow. I would also like WAYWORKS INCORPORATED and possibly ESTABLISHED 2005 or EST 2005 included in the design. I imagine it going around the bird in a big circle, but I'm open to any ideas. All I really want is for this logo to be beautiful - it has no specific purpose or meaning. Thanks in advance for your submissions.
