What We Do
Wake Up Sports is a bold, parody-driven sportswear brand that combines the performance energy of Nike with the unapologetic humor and authenticity of Barstool Sports. We create athletic apparel that challenges the overly “politically correct” culture of today — mixing old-school grit, comedy, and confidence into designs that celebrate competition, free speech, and individuality.

Our audience includes athletes, fans, and everyday legends who are proud to speak freely, laugh loudly, and live without fear of offending someone for having an opinion. They love sports, freedom, and authenticity — and they appreciate humor that’s edgy but good-natured.

Visually, the brand should feel strong, confident, and modern-athletic — clean lines, bold type, and a sense of power, rebellion, and American spirit. Think of it as “Nike with attitude” — a brand built for people who play hard, laugh harder, and refuse to apologize for either.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
Wake Up Sports should feel bold, athletic, and unapologetically confident — like a fusion of Nike’s performance energy, Barstool’s humor, and an anti-woke, freedom-first attitude.

We want a logo that instantly communicates strength, rebellion, and authenticity — a brand that says “Wake Up” both literally and culturally.

Design direction:

Style: Clean, modern athletic lines with attitude. Not cartoonish — think serious sports brand with a smirk.

Imagery concepts:

A bold wordmark that looks great on apparel (caps, shirts, gym gear).

Optional symbol/icon that represents “waking up” (could be a rising sun, alarm, clenched fist, lightning bolt, rooster, or stylized ‘W’ flame).

The logo should work in black, white, and orange — strong contrast, minimal gradients.

Tone: Masculine, fearless, humorous but not goofy.

Audience: Sports fans, athletes, and everyday people who value freedom, comedy, and competition over sensitivity.

We want designers to explore dynamic, simple, and powerful marks that feel premium enough for a Nike-style athletic brand but with an edge that makes people laugh and think.


As an idea:
- think around waking up from a dream and the realization of the things that are not different.. Changed...
- Move around the message of the logo represent the movement around change, with a funny message on it with will be the message on the T-shirt.
