WaboomLogo Design Contest

Even though I have ranked #7 as number one of the entries so far, I don't think I want a logo with all CAPS. Either only lower case letters or a capital W.

In the contest brief I've left the bar exactly in the middle when it comes to the logo being masculine or feminine because it's not a gender related service we offer. But taking into regard that Waboom is quite a masculine name, I would rather that you design a logo that is a bit feminine than masculine.

Some of you are thinking in the line of a bomb, probably of the name's similarity to kaboom. Please don't! You are on the wrong track.

Many great design so far. I'm very pleased with your work. I have now given everyone feedback on their entries and just updated the ranking.

Even though deux is in the lead with his entry #50, this is not exactly what I'm looking for, so please don't try to copy him. I love his custom typography and for that his my favorite so far, but I'm really looking for something a bit more web 2.0. This can be achived with a pictomark in front of the wordmark, like the number two ranked ThreadBit have done with entry #39. I also like the idea of using a portfolio/folder as a symbol like the number three ranked dapc79 have done with entry #44.

But first of all be creative, and don't look to much at the the other entries this early in the contest. I'm open for everything, and maybe what I'm after is something in a completely different direction.

A lot of orange entries so far, but don't think to much about colors. Make the logo in your favorite color, and if I like the design but not the color I'll just ask you to try another color. The 5 best designs will make it to the final independent of color choices.

My double letter "O" is not an infinity symbol...

The contest is now finished and a winning logo has been chosen. We are very happy with the result and I will like to thank all designer for participating.
