I don't like the colors of 2-5, and they're a little too complex...like a little more simple. However, one value of our solution is that it frees patients to engage with their doctor online, rather than going to a clinic. So, the spirit of #5 is good. But it's just too much. Think less overt, and more simple and symbolic.

One more thing to consider...the name, vyzit, has sort-of two meanings...one is "visit"...these are online video interactions between doctors and patients...but another way to think about it could be "vis" (as in "visualize) and "it" ... or, "visualize it", which is important because that's what we do...allow patients to have visual encounters with their doctor.

SO, maybe breaking up the logo into "vys" and "it" might be interesting. It's just an idea I'm throwing out there for you creative folks.

Hi jbrownlee -- great looking contest!

I thought I might let you know about an LT rule that applies here. Designers are very happy to make changes for you, but please do not ask designers to borrow elements or design ideas from another. This includes typographical modifications unique to the designer.

Thanks for understanding!

You have a lot of really great designs so far :)

Thanks Nancy. I know the rules and I have not ever referenced another designer when asking for changes. One of the designers accused me of that, but you can look at all the notes and I've never done it.

A lot of these are looking very similar. Don't be afraid to to submit something totally different.

Nancy, you shouldn't just get a complaint from a designer and then blame the client without looking at the whole picture. As you can tell from this contest there are tons of similarities among these designs. I've asked designers to do some things with the font, etc, not to copy another designer but to improve their design for me. The complaint that guy apparently sent you could have been filed by any one of these artists, since there are so many similarities. Don't make this the client's issue, unless there is a meaningful design element stolen.

jbrownlee, i don't want to interfere, but calling me an "idiot" i think is a bit too much and till this point things had gone a bit too far and it looks to me too much like a personal vendeta right now.
It's about business and your interest in getting THE BEST IDEA and not THE BEST SIMILAR IDEA.
I would like to turn back your words to you but that would place me to the same level and i think it's a bit too low for my tastes.
My apologies if i offended you, i just shared a professional opinion nothing more.
As for the "idiot" part i would really like to receive your apologies, i never called you in anyway or used elemetary school vocabulary to describe my fellings about you or anyone else.

Goodluck with your contest!
