This one use has some more contrast in the microphone and uses LED sound display. If you would like to see different colors or anything at all, please don't hesitate to let me know.
This is #46 with a dot added between your name and voice-over, some more contrast in the microphone to make it stand out more and your name a little bigger in comparison to the mic and LEDs. I'll do a few other variations of this in different fonts so you can see what those look like. They will be similar so please don't hesitate to mark any as "not interested" if you don't like any better than the current one.
If you like one part of one and want it added to another, it's not trouble at all to do that.
#49 - a serif font style with details on the ends of the letters. #50 - a modern, "techno" font #51 - the same as the original, only the second line is also all capital letters.
I think I know what you mean...shading, a bevel..depth... something to make the text look less flat? I have a couple of ideas that I'll get to work on.
Also, can I see what #48 would look like without the windscreen/bracket around the microphone? In other words, just the microphone without the stand around it.
#52 - gradient and shadow #53 - same but no line #54 - an outline around the letters #55 - gradient, outline and shadow #56 - different shadows #57 - 3-D and shadows
Here's the one without the bracket and windscreen. I also did one without the bracket but with the screen, and one with the bracket and without the screen so you could see what those look like.
Thanks again for all of the feedback, and I'm glad you like them so far. I still have a couple of ideas on the sketchpad, just minor positioning things I'll work up so you can see some other looks as well. If anything comes to mind that you might want to see, please don't hesitate to let me know.
I just wanted to show you a couple of different layouts as some other options.
#93 is a horizontal layout instead of the current vertical one so you could see what that looks like.
#95 is very close to #78 but I made the LEDs a bit smaller, so you see more of them and they also aren't as high in the design. These ones only go halfway to the top of the wind screen which changes the overall shape of the design.
One more tiny tweak for you. This is #102 with a little more spacing between the letters in "Voices Of Steve". For example, the "TEVE" in Steve are very close with this font in #102. I added a little bit of space between all the letters to separate them a bit more and make it look a little cleaner. Just another option with a little different look.
One other design option I wanted you to see. This one has a reflection of the mic and wind screen. I think it would look good on a web page or in high quality print, but on business cards or small print the ones without the reflection would probably look sharper. Take care, Tim
I had another idea in the sketchpad that I wanted to show you as just another option. It's a few sound waves around the microphone, but I made them very subtle and curved as I wanted them to portray "smooth" and keep the clean, sharp look.
I was thinking of any other variations I could show you, and the only thing I think I hadn't done was just show you a couple with the second line of text in a different color. So, here is one in red and one in black as a couple other options.
One more option to show you. This is #128 where I just brightened my LED design and added a little more contrast to them. As before, if you like any parts of the recent ones and want to see them used in another please don't hesitate to let me know.
Okay Tim....after talking to my voice-over coach tonight and some of my fellow voice-over artists, I would like you to do the following:
1. Take the font style of #50 and apply it to designs #43, 128, and 102 2. Change the words "voice-over artist" in all remaining designs and change it to "Voice Actor"
I have extended the contest two days to give you and others more time for modifications.
I think that's all of them, but if I misunderstood anything please let me know. And of course if you want any other variations or changes, it's no trouble at all.
Can you turn the microphones in design #'s 157, 152, and 160 upside-down so they look like they are hanging off of a stand? I don't really want to see much of the stand...maybe just the joint where the mic meets the stand.
