I really enjoy the abstract leaf in #133. It may be worth trying a vein down the middle of the leaf. Also, while I don't have any specific ideas, it would be excellent if the graphic element could stand along without the name (as a symbol for the company). It needs something else to get there, but it's close!
I really enjoy the revised version (#145) with the vein in the middle of the leaf.
The big thing with using an abstract shape is that it can stand alone without the name. Any thoughts on making it more distinctive so it can do that? I'm also getting a little bit of a bird feel with this shape, not that it's bad, but I'm not entirely sure if that they way we want to go.
Any thoughts or idea to further develop this route would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Also, in #136, any thoughts to give it more depth. I think this concept has potential, as well. Maybe try giving it more of layered feel with different shades of green...?
If you can take a look at the general comment I just added on the contest, I think they apply greatly to #145. Take a look at those and see what you can come up with to help it stand better independently.
Thanks! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
We're looking forward to seeing what you can do based on my previous feedback and the following, which I posted on the main contest page...
"The graphic element must be able to stand alone and be well-balanced without placement near the name. For example, if we were to place just the graphic element on the back of a business card, it must be visually appealing enough to sit independently. Also, while we are fans of abstract, the shape itself need to be interesting. So, random is OK, but it must be appealing."
Thank you for your revised concepts! We appreciate it.
#231 is a good example of how it can stand alone, but we're not sure it has the visual appeal of #145. Maybe take a look at modifying the arrangement of the leaf (or leaves?) to create a more balanced graphic that can stand alone. The visual look of #145 is a great base to build from, but I'm not sure about anything specific you can try to develop it further.
Any thoughts? We would love to see what you can do with it. Thanks again for your continued efforts!
