To all of you:
we really enjoy your creativity. There are some really nice ideas so far. Nonetheless we would like to give you an idea now, which direction of a logo we have thought before, you can find the previous idea here:

http://vitamondo.de/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=5&Itemid=39

Maybe it supports you in refining your proposals or coming up with new ideas.

One of the ideas was to split up the words vita and smoke. Vita in green (colourcode: 46/3/100/2), green to symbolise health, nature, cleanness. Smoke in grey (59/50/49/18). The colours look appealing in this idea, the green could even be a little bit stronger, darker. But only a bit!
We always see the colours in combination with pure white as a core colour later in our web shop.

The molecules you can see are H2O molecules, symbolising the harmless steam basing not on tar and combusted tobacco, but on neutral liquid (even if it´s not water steam directly but basing on a fluid which contents oxygen, H and Carbon). we also thought about to use the molekules later on in our web- and tv-appearence as astylistic element and reminding link.

In your ideas we found some nice, convincing approaches which could really enhance our first approach clearly. These ideas are:

-- using the letter "i" as a cigarette symbol; really good, simple and plausible idea!
-- the steam coming from the cigarette in the letter "i": very logical
-- the vividness of the caracters (especially see #21); characters with light and shadow

Cheers, W

#21: Just a quick comment: I like the friendlyness of this approach, especially the heart! Really good idea to transport positive attributes.
You could play around a little bit with the colours as described in my previous comment.
And I am a little bit irritated by the red glow, because it´s very dominant and also introduces a third colour without really being integrated into the colourworld. I feel a little bit disturbed, but i have no idea how to solve it.

Hi, we've made a couple of changes, as you can see.

First of all, the change of colours:. the new combination between green and grey is more visual.

Second, the red glow. The new grey is for supporting the visual effect of the cigarette ashes.

The third one is that we're testing the font style. Now in italic except for the "i" (there's no italic cigarettes!). Our point of view is that now the word "vita" is visually reinforced.

Your comments about the new changes are, as always, welcomed.

Thanks!

#2:
Thank you very much for your efforts. I still like your approach. Just to be able to compare it would be great if you could realise some adjustements:

the colours: it would be great if we can limit the logo to two main colours.
For the green please try #5C8A00 (a little bit darker).
The black word smoke could be lightened up a litlle bit; try #4D4D4D instead of black.

The ash symbol: could you please try to do it in green as well, and to show it as three vertical lines/little bricks; here you can find an example of what i mean:
http://vitamondo.de/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=5&Itemid=39

The heart: could you do the heart in a grey tone as well, please? Not in blue.
The slogan/claim: Could you please change it into: Die gesündere Alternative

Could you also try a version just in capital letters (guess it´s an avantgarde font)?

Finally we need to think about, if it´s possible to reduce the height of the logo by scaling down the heart or by letting the first steam from the cigarette flow not straight to the top but more vertical to the right?

really nice, I got some more comments from colleagues and friends as well meanwhile and they all like the heart idea.

Don´t be disappointed when I take out some of your suggestions later on. This is just to get more focus on a direction.

What do I like and what should we stay with:
the small and italic letters are better than the capital ones!
the green is wonderful now
the shape of the heart in version #63 is perfect (a little bit sharper and lighter than the others); but I am still not clear if the heart should go straight upwards or a little bit angular, like in #59. I think I prefer #59

what could be changed:
the letters are a little bit to paly at the top of the letters; maybe the color gradient is to strong (means the green and the grey at the top of the letters is to bright) or maybe you can solve it with a little bit darker outline. At the moment it´s difficult to read the logo from a distance.

The slogan is too small, it should have the complete length/range of the word "smoke"

And finally, after taking my remarks into account, I would appreciate a version, where you again try out a green/blue variant: take the green of #63 and please use a darker blue than in #21, maybe you try out #00367E. And please adapt the cloud then into blue (fitting to the choosen blue).

In this case, same changes than #77 but we've used a colour blue (#00367E) for the word "smoke" and we've modified the heart colour too.

Comments are welcomed, thanks

Thank you very much, still close to what we are searching for. I want to have a quick check with some other people first, then I will come back with a, hopefully, final briefing.

Some remark upfront:
the slogan font should in any event be in bold letters

the color gradient (adapting the bright colour, making it a little bit darker) now was a bit too much. The middle between the previous version and this version would be fine to have a little bit more contrast.

And I still ask myself if your colour proposal of #21 is not even better (the lighter colours) (but without the red tip).

But do not put to much time and efforts in changes now, you can wait with an adaption until you get the final remarks from my side.

Best regards, Werner

Hi verbavolantbranding,
I still really like your proposal. Nonetheless, now that the tournament is going to be finished soon, it would be great, if you could also play around a little bit with the letter "V". Try to let it look like a checkmark and/or a leaf-like letter without loosing the "V" itself. Any Ideas?
You also could writethe "s" in Capital letters just to differentiate the word smoke a little bit more. This also would have the advantage that the bent line of the heart would fit exactly to the shape of the "S".
Just try.

Best regards, werner

Hey, what a great improvement. You really surprised me very positively. I like #149 most. We could rework the "V" a lillte bit, maybe a bit slimmer and more shaows/ligts. But that is exactly the direction I wanted to have it. The leafs #148 are a little bit too leaf-like, the checkmark #147 is too accurrate, to sharp.

#149 is great. I would spend some time to brief you exactly bring this to a really final version.

Very good job!
