Nice. Classic and established. Play with the spacing a bit. It feels like the height of the V, P, and k are effecting the balance of the logo. Try a lower case P. That might not work, but give it a shot.

It's possible the V and k hanging over the edges are creating the wrong effect. Also try it in green please.

Great job.

Sorry I wasn't able to submit revisions - I think Christmas got in the way and now only the 1st ranked designer can submit new designs.

I ranked you first so that you could submit revisions. The balance may appear somewhat off because the "k" has so much more over-hang than the V. That may not be the case, but it's creating the illusion.

Let's try a few things.

1) Remove the trees leading up to the doors and replace them with lines.
2) Try a version of the logo where the letters in VIEW PARK are all the same height, capitalized. Fit everything into the top and bottom horizontal lines so that there are no breaks. Also in this version, make the width of the words VIEW PARK the same as the width of the word CONSERVANCY
3) Give me a version with the a serif font.

Here are some variations of #58:
#117 - with Conservancy the same width as View Park and lines instead of trees.
#118 - View Park in all caps.
#119 - View Park in small caps. I've also added some more to each side of the building and added solid green areas to indicate the driveway instead of the lines.
#120 - same as #119 with the building form #117 and two less trees (I'm not too keen on the two lines instead of trees).
#121 - a different typeface and trees added behind the building in a tint of the green.
#122 & #123 - two different serif typefaces.
#124 - small caps version of #123.
Let me know if you would like to see other variations.

Looks Great! Notes below..

Entry #123 – Let's try another serif font where the "W" doesn't cross in the middle. That will make it look less busy. As a matter of fact, go to http://lafayettesquare.org/ and see if you can match the font of that logo. We really like that.

Entry #118 – Keep everything the same, except make the areas to the left and right of the driveway green (like Entry #123).

Thanks.

Also on Entry #123 – Make the words "VIEW PARK" a little bolder than it currently is.

#125 - View Park in the same typeface as Lafayette Square and Conservancy in a lighter weight.
#126 - View Park and Conservancy in the same heavier weight.
#127 - I have used a tint of green in the shapes either side of the driveway as the building would look like like it is floating if those areas are solid green.
#128 - same as #127 except with the extended building and solid green either side of the driveway.
#129 - same as #128 but with green tint areas.
#130 - same as #129 but with a lighter green.
#131 & #132 - a couple of different serif typeface options.

Entry #125 is really strong. Let's also develop a black and white version of this. Right now, if we faxed this, I think the color of the roof and the background color would blend.

Send me a note when ready. I'm going to move you to number 2 temporarily.

I have a black and white version of #125 ready, so let me know when you change the ranking in case I don't notice right away.

Give me an all white version on a background of your choice. Not too dark though. Similar to your Block x Block logo.

You can give me a version of the logo in several monotone colors. I want to see variations of the color scheme a bit. Bright but soft.

Happy New Year.
#139 - the terracotta colour from #125. This is just a white out version which I don't think works very well because it looks like a snow scene at night. #140 works better.
#141, #142, #143, #144, #145, #146, #147, #148 & #149 - other colour options.

Looks good. Let's try one more thing. I'm not sure if you can see the other logos, but try a version in the color scheme of Entry #115.

#150 & #151 - the only difference between these two designs is the colour of the roofs.
#153 - has a little 3-dimensionality in the two large central arches.

Let's make it all green.

#154 - did you mean green for the lettering as well?

Yes. Sorry about that.

Excellent! You've won. We'll select you Entry #125 as the winner and when you upload the Ai or EPS file, please include the following.

1) Include all the color variations you made from #139 to #149
2) Include the black and white version #134
3) Include Entry #155
4) Include a color chart outside of the artboard for all the background colors and the green color you used for your last entry.

I will only be able to upload one eps and one jpeg of a winning design as this is what is required by LogoTournament. Once those are approved I can send other colour versions by email.

Client
Can you upload the EPS but place the other requested objects outside of the artboard?

I'm reviewing the file now? Using Entry #141 as an example - Is it possible for your to make the ROOF, WINDOWS and GRASS transparent so that if we have a color background on the site, it will match?

Right now, if we establish a web color profile for the background (i.e. 566C11) the foreground pantone color doesn't match. Making the objects transparent can fix that but looking at the file, all the shapes are layered.

Is there a way for you to make the house a cut-out of the solid shape in the half circle?

Question – What is the name of the font/typeface that you used for the logo?
