Thanks for your entries, I really like #218. It's a little to bold for what I was hoping for, but it has a nice feel to the it. I think the dot on the I could get a little smaller. Also, what about tapering the e in a way (on the upper right side) that matches the way the v and b are cut on an angle? How would commerce look in non-italic... generally I'm not a fan of that word in italics.
Entry #245 is a non italic version Entry #244 gave the "e" a bit of a slice on the upper right as per you request Entry #243 same as 244 but has a bigger slice on the corner
Tell what you think of them and I'll move forward by giving it a different color
#243 is my favorite followed by #245. I will see how they look in context. I actually like the color a lot. I specified orange, but I thing the green-gold-orange thing is working on a couple of the logos.
I also feel like the font may be too fat. I do like this logo a lot but the boldness of the letters makes me feel it wouldn't be as timeless as something thinner.
Based on my personal observation on Timeless logos most of them are based on thick fonts. Lets say for example are the logos of FedEx, Dell, Microsoft and NBA logos. They did not change their logo for years now. Slimmer fonts mostly are being used on long worded or multiple word logos.
