Via JesusLogo Design Contest

I would like to see the "via" in the word "Scandinavia" and the name "Jesus" possibly stand out from the other letters and words in the slogan. I would not want anything super bold or awkward, but I think that would be a neat way of expressing the title again within the text and design of the slogan. Just a thought. Thanks!

I would like to see a darker blue used, such as a navy blue, or something in between royal and navy.

I like the word "via" being lowercase letters and the letter "J" in the name "Jesus" being capitalized in the main title/logo (not talking about the slogan). Like, "via Jesus"

I like the Cross being centered in the design. The darker/navy blue is my favorite. I like the slogan being in regular font, rather than italics.

CONCERNING THE SLOGAN ONLY: Would really like to see the last three letters of the word "Scandinavia" ("...via") and the name "Jesus" be in a separate color/font/style than the rest of the letters and words in the SLOGAN. This would reiterate the main title and also tie Scandinavia (the region) into our concept. I came up with the title "Via Jesus" by incorporating the last three letters of "Scandinavia," and I would like to see that in the design somehow. Please let me know if there are any questions concerning this or if what I am asking for is not clear or understandable. Thanks a ton!

Some things that represent Scandinavia include: green nature, waterways (many lakes in Scandinavia), ships/boats, etc. Maybe these will help!

Hello all, I would like to see some larger letters in the title and slogan. It seems that many of them are somewhat small. All, I am looking for a logo that is clean, modern, fun but serious at the same time. I would like to see the concept of "via" (path, way, by way of, etc.) implemented into the actual characters of the word "via" in the title. That way people will understand what I am trying to mean by "Via Jesus." Also, please emphasize the letters "...via" (in the word Scandinavia) and the name "Jesus" in the SLOGAN. I believe this will ALSO convey to the viewer that I obviously came up with the word "via" from the last three letter ("...via") of ScandinaVIA. Thanks to all who read!!! NEW IDEAS: All, thank you for your work and entries. I have a few new ideas that I would like to share.

1. Have only the slogan in the logo, but design the last three letters of "Scandinavia" (the "...via" and the name "Jesus" so that they stand out from among the other words/letters. This would be more compact, and it would relay to the viewer both where the "via" comes from (from the word "Scandinavia") and the fact that I am reaching Scandinavia "by way of" Jesus. I would really like to see some new designs with this thought concept implemented.

2. Many of you have used the navy blue and a lighter/brighter green. I think they look really nice, but I would like to see some designs with a darker green and a navy blue. That may sharpen the logo a bit.

3. My wife and I have decided that we like designs with the image on the left of the text just as well as the image in the center of the text. It looks nice and professional. However, we would still like to see some more designs with a centered cross.

All of these ideas have been provoked by the designs you all have submitted. Your ideas have led me to more ideas that I did not think of before. I enjoy working with all of you! Please let me know if I have commented too much, need to comment more, or anything else I can do to better aid you in this tournament.

All, please look at ONLY THE SLOGAN in entry #53. This designer FINALLY understood what I meant by emphasizing the "...via" and "Jesus" in the slogan. I know that it is not right to ask designers to use other designers ideas and concepts, but I am not asking you to do so in this case. This was my idea, and denzu has been the only one thus far to understand what I am asking for. Please do not take offense by this post/comment, I am simply trying to get you all to understand and visually see what I am talking about concerning the slogan. Please feel free to use YOUR OWN IDEAS AND CONCEPTS concerning the slogan. I only ask that you fully understand what I mean by EMPHASIZE/DIFFERENTIATE (either by color, boldness, etc.) these specific letters/name in the slogan.

ALL: I would like to see some designs that incorporate the thoughts of nature/water, etc. This would represent such a place as Scandinavia that has a lot of trees, water, lakes, streams, etc. Thanks for all the entries!!!
