Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
Please consider ranking the designs rather than eliminating the points we gather are valuable even if we do not win your contest. Also take a moment to review the "Ranking and General Tips" as compiled by one of our designers (Bugy) https://logotournament.com/forum/general_discussion/914
I like #16 and #15. Can't decide which one I like better. I like the font. My partner likes the green. I might want to see a couple variations with a warmer, natural color as well. The arrow is simple and a bit obvious but that's OK. I feel like this is a safe design, fairly well executed. One quality from our creative brief that I'd like to feel come through a bit more is "luxury". We said we want a "luxury", "expensive" feel. A little "exotic".
#14. This is simple and contemporary if a little plain. Would like to see some other colors. Maybe a couple of warmer, earthier options. In the creative brief we said we wanted these two qualities but also luxury. I feel that's what's missing here. I don't feel like this is a logo that would stand the test of time. Some good qualities to this though.
#65 - Thanks for jumping into the fray with something different. I like how you've experimented with line both coming in from the left and going out through the right. Can't decide which is the way to go, but I do like the thinner spike as opposed to the thicker line. I wouldn't say I love the magenta but it's got me thinking. Blue and silver are OK too. Would like to see some other color options. Would also like to see you play with the mark a bit more to see what you come up with. Not totally there yet but a cool look. I like it.
#54 - I see that it's a VM, but it looks too much like a VW. I like how you've put the letters inside the ball and how you've played with two shades of one color. The blue is nice. Might want to see some other options as well. But the VM needs some refinement if this concept is going to be in the mix.
#54, #58, #65, #70 - Thanks for coming in and spicing up the contest with some new looks. It just got interesting. Thanks to all who have been responsive to our comments.
We'd like to see some more risk taking. We updated the contest brief to open it up to pictoral marks, emblems, letter marks, etc. We feel like there are some good designs here, but we want to be inspired.
