If you're "veering", then directional arrows are an obvious visual that comes to mind. But you'd probably veer off in a new direction as opposed to going around and around in a circle. So the oval image doesn't hit home with us. We're not opposed to seeing an arrow/arrows incorporated into the logo somehow, but it is kind of obvious so it doesn't get us that excited. It would have to be very original or subtle. Also Veer is a powerful word, but this logo gives equal weight to "veer" and "marketing". So marketing kind of overshadows veer, which isn't good. We're definitely looking forward to seeing some completely different looks.
