Thank you for your input! Since the logo will be used for signage, we are seeking a logo that can be visible from a distance. 'Unity' and 'Dental' need to be equally emphasized in the logo. Every letter in the logo needs to be spelled out clearly. We are looking for a design that feels refreshing, clean, modern and welcoming. A colored abstract mark that also look nice in black and white would be ideal! We prefer a logo that doesn't have the shapes/images of tooth, toothbrush/toothpaste, and dental instruments. We are looking for an abstract mark that are simple, refreshing and modern. We like your design for worthy one. Worthy and one are equally emphasized in the logo. The abstract mark was simple and yet ties the color choices together. Would you be able to design something similar for our logo? Thank you!
Thank you Barubelajar! 60 is closer to the logo we want! However, 'Unity' and 'Dental' need to be equally emphasized in the logo. Please also try the letters with out the italics. Thank you!
Thank you Barubelajar! We like the font you created and the way you put them together. However, we need the symbol to be unique to our dental office. We are looking for a symbol that shows harmony. The one we ranked #1 has the look we want. The one we ranked #2 shows harmony. Would you be able to create a symbol for us that shows harmony? Thank you very much!
Great! Now with the deeper blue color, the letters sure are quite visible. Since the color is stronger now, how do you think it will look if we use a thinner, more refined font? Will it make the image more sophisticated?
What else can we do to the graphic part on the left side of our practice name to make it more interesting while representing the idea of "unity" being having "something whole or complete that is composed of separate parts" and "the arrangement of the elements in a work of art in accordance with a single overall design or purpose"?
I think we are getting closer to something here. Just need your help to make this refined and meaningful.
Thanks for incorporating the idea of a jigsaw puzzle. Is there a way to lighten up the image? It doesn't have to be an exact image of an jigsaw puzzle, just an idea of things fitting together in harmony to achieve one of integrity. The image of jigsaw puzzle with solid blue and grey pieces felt heavy and impenetrable. It reminds us of a shield. We are hoping to find an image will make the customers feel welcoming, refreshing, and warm. Any suggestions?
We feel you did such a great job with the design in #187. It would be great if we can explorer that some more. We like the meaning behind the jigsaw puzzles more than #190 and #192. And the outline in $187 felt more dynamic, too. What's your recommendations in adjusting the symbol itself in #187 to make it less "solid"? It's quite heavy on the left-hand side of the whole picture because of that. Is there any way to make each piece of jigsaw puzzle to represent an element in nature (sky, tree/earth, water, breeze, human, etc)?
Thanks! Looks like making the blue color lighter did the opposite to our eyes. The brighter blue actually drew more attention to the sphere on the left. What can we do to introduce more white spaces in there?
Please keep sending us more creative ideas you come up with. Our staff will get together again later in the day to discuss all the new entries. Looking forward to your wonderful work! By the way, don't feel restricted by the color or images. We are looking for a feeling of harmony and integrity in our logo; and there are many ways nature achieves that. We are open to ideas.
If combining natural elements into the pieces is too complex, we are open to alternative designs. Our female team members have suggested that they wish to see a more refined, softer design. They felt our current design is a big too bold and masculine to attract the females in the families. Changing the shade to brighter blue (#196, 197) didn't help to win our female team members' hearts, either. They still see large areas of solid colors, just brighter; so the image still looks just like a blue sphere from a distance. Since our target clients are families and most wives in the family are the ones calling us to make appointments, we need to have an image that attracts them.
We appreciate your efforts and are very interested in what other creative ideas you have came up with.
No problem. There is still one day left in this top 5 phase. You are doing well. We are looking forward to your creative works. It's always a good idea to take a break to clear up your thoughts before coming up with fresh ideas. Please send in as many different concepts as you can. Again, because of the time difference, we will have to review all your new designs together during the day here tomorrow.
Yes, we agree. #207 didn't add much to the effect we are looking for. Out of the three, we like #206 more. It looks more "open" and less of a solid mass. It's probably ok to keep the word "CENTRE" less obivious color (grey) instead of making it green.
Could you show us some other design ideas you might have? It can be totally different from the circular puzzle image. Sorry to be picking your brain so much during the weekend. We are eagerly waiting to see an image that really speaks to our team. I asked the administrator for an extension so you will have more time to come up with new ideas.
Thanks for the new concepts. #242 will probably work better than #243. Most people we surveyed couldn't see the dolphins until they get really close. #242's concept is a good start, having leaf and sunrise. The feedback from our survey indicated: 1. people feels the leaves should be green. 2. they can't see the sunrise from a distance. 3. the white space in the center feels skewed because of the pointy corners.
Maybe we can use outlines of water to replace the leaves, and use outline of leaf to replace the sunshine? Can this be done and give the inner white space a more rounded look?
