in a blue, let me know if you have a colour preference as this logo looks good in all colours and colours are very personal to people. icon a bit smaller, the twirling dot icon leads the eye to the word twirlia.
you've done a great job so far... can you think of anything else to integrate or manipulate the icon with so that it exemplifies "internet / web" ? i can't think of anything specific but if your creativity yields anything i'd love to see it. thanks again for the work you've done!
I will put my mind to it, I never stop thinking about new ideas of either improving existing logos or completely new ideas, you will be the first to know if I can improve it. It is quite common in this contest to be pipped at the post by another designers new idea, whether its good or not, just because its fresh and they've been looking at yours for a week.
But you have to careful not to overcomplicate a logo, most of the best logos in the world are simple, eg. Google, its just a word with no obvious web look, but everyone recognises it and what they do. A logo should be clean, interesting and recognisable, the actions of the company do the rest, of either building it into an icon that people remember or want to forget. Just my humble two cents.
Here's a new take on it, the background represents a computer monitor, so you can use the logo with or without the background depending on what you're using it for.
I have to go away for a couple of days, I'll check back in Sunday night (Australia time) If you still like it then I can do any more changes/colours that you need. Thanks for your time.
Hey there! We are very into your winning logo for twirlia! We are hoping you can design a similar logo for our contest. We haven't found the right logo yet. We want an asymmetrical infinity sign made in green and blue made of dots with the center dot being the largest. We love your font choice and would like a similar soft yet modern font. thanks!
