Trucking Jobs WVLogo Design Contest

"Get on the road to your new career."

We are a new West Virginia focused jobs service (web based jobs board) that connects companies and/or employers in the trucking industry (and related industries) with those qualified applicants seeking specific employment in the industry.

We have not made a concrete decision on the colors that we'd like to use but favor blue/green, blue/yellow, red/blue along but the logo does not have to be limited to just two colors.

We'd like something that does not look comical, elementary or "cartoonish". We are looking for a logo that conveys just a couple of points, that we are a service that connects job seekers with jobs in the trucking industry in West Virginia. This will be a service of the West Virginia Trucking Association so we want people to understand that but we want to brand the service independently. The logo for the WVTA is attached and while we like that the logo is "contained" within an oval shape that doesn't necessarily need to be the case on this logo. We don't want our logo to look TOO similar to our WVTA logo.

The logo will be used on the website, in branding materials, advertising, promotional collateral, etc so it does not need to be overly elaborate. Just a clean and masculine looking logo that is as close to being symmetric as possible. A logo that uses the outline of the state of WV would be good or that uses a mountainous background within the logo and some sort of semi-truck with a trailer, etc.
