What We Do
Trailer Parc is a new concept crafted by The Lobster, an iconic seafood restaurant at the top of the Santa Monica pier. Helmed by renowned chef Govind Armstrong, Trailer Parc (located directly across the street from The Lobster - currently in food truck format but soon to be an actual trailer) serves gourmet grab-and-go bites such as a Lobster Roll, cheeseburger, hot dog, ceviche, etc. including cocktails, wine and beer. Guests can get food on the go or sit and stay a while to people watch. The target audience includes Santa Monica tourists, regulars of The Lobster who may want a more casual bite from time to time, young "cool seekers" on the West Side, etc. This is a HEAVY FOOT TRAFFIC location so we want something loud and fun that pops and stands out from everything else happening on the block. We want to have a retro, kitschy kind of vibe with this logo (palm trees, flamingos, waves, skateboards, roller skates, etc. all fair game - retro vintage LA kitsch)...examples and color palette direction attached. NOTE: the logo will reside within a broader trailer WRAP that will have a sort of ombre sunset vibe so we want the logo itself to be able to stand out amidst a very colorful background. See examples/inspo.
Color Preferences
The overall brand will have a very retro sunset ombre style color palette - however we don't necessarily want a ton of different colors in the logo itself because the trailer will be very colorful. Leaning toward a core color of teal/ocean/blue - but can also play with RED since parent restaurant The Lobster is red.
