Town of Bethlehem, NYLogo Design Contest

Thank you all for the great submissions!

A couple of notes now that we see your logos-
**Please do not include NY in the logo any more, we just want to see Town of Bethlehem
**We also do not want to see TOB any longer
**We want to emphasize that this is a local program not a state effort, so no blue bird (which represents the state)
**We really do like the idea of a tree, but want a real looking tree, nothing too abstract
**In addition this program is geared towards sustainabilty so if possible try to incorporate ideas considering certain aspects of the program such as pathways, energy efficiency, walkability, bike and pedestrian pathways, roadways, carbon footprint reduction, greenhouse reduction, etc.
**we would be interested in seeing some icons to represent the program elements mentioned above
**also we are open to suggestions on a name for the program, such as Sustainable Bethlehem, Bethlehem Green, etc.

Based on what we are seeing we like the idea of incorporating more symbols beside just a tree. Such as but not limited to (bike, pedestrian, light bulb, water, buildings, roadway, etc.) The program being created is not just a "green" program but a program to incorporate sustainable solutions to the Town.

Our hope is to try and incorporate symbology that encompasses the program as a whole and bring in all aspects of it with our logo.

We have decided to use the "Sustainable Bethlehem" theme. Please use this instead of "Town of Bethlehem" for all future submissions.

In addition, the logo will on occasion have to be produced in black/white. If possible could the top ranked designers provide a copy of their top ranked logo in a grayscale, to give us an idea of how that would look.
