#1 is still my favorite

I would like to see more color variations on #1 along with a my tag line "the best site to search for things todo"

I think i like all small letters rather than capital letters

also, try different variations of wisconsin maps on #1

BlueChomp, I like your design....especially the "googly" eyes. Please make the map of Wisconsin a little better and add a compass similar to dotwoman. Somehow depict that our website is for searching for things to do in Northeastern Wisconsin (upper right corner of the state). Only use lower case letters and try many different color variations to see which colors I like better. I like your concept so far. I might like it even better with these few changes I mentioned. Thanks for your hard work on this!!

#17 Wingedwolf: I really like your concept. Try even more multiple color variations. Make the "Too" all one color. Make the "Doo" all one color. Make the "gle" all one color. Make the tag line all one color or make each word a different color. I would like to see the same design with multiple color combinations. Focus the magnifying glass over Green Bay and Northeast Wisconsin (upper right corner of the state) rather than the northwest corner.

Also, put the "googly" eyes in this version and I think it will be almost perfect.

I am really starting to like your concept!!

Athayse,Thanks for the feedback. But I didn't do the googley eyes, I did the binoculars. I can add detail to the map and maybe add north east , but I can't do a compass sorry because it is Dotwoman's concept.

WingedWolf: OK, it's almost exactly what I am looking for. The slogan is "todo" rather than "to do". Also, please try several more color combinations with the TooDoogle. I would say stay away from the color red since it depicts danger...softer colors are better. Also, it should read ".com" rather than ".coM". I really like the "googly" eyes and the magnifying glass over northeast Wisconsin...perfect concept. Keep going...almost perfect now!! Thank you very much for all of your hard work.

Dear contest holder,

Please don't rank variations on the same design in the top spots. This demotivates designers to come up with new ideas.

Try ranking concepts, putting variations of those concepts on the bottom.

Thank you for ranking the designs on concept, putting variations on the bottom of the list. This will motivate designers to come up with more ideas.

Feel free to extend the contest for as long as you like, if you find these logos are not worth your money.

A week extension... is part of the contest, but I really think the work I did since the beginning was enough, other give up just with a little competence and stop working, other just dont feel interested...I submit the entries #66 and #67 I was keeping it to the end, maybe it help you to take a final decision, as you decided to extend this, you can finish it too in the moment you want.

This comp is worrying me, how similar my designs are to google. Especially as it has the word "oogle.com" as part of the name. I'm sorry but I'm dropping out of this one unless I find a way to make my designs not resemble google so much. I'm worried about copyright and I think it's an issue you'll have to be careful with. All the best.

Do any of you think there might be a copyright infringement against Google if I use the word TooDoogle.com?

You will have to get proper legal advice, but I think TooDoogle as a name is fine. But as another designer stated on the forum, asking for anything remotely to an existing logo is playing with fire. I would advise on working on an original concept, opposed to trying to emulate an existing brand in any way, shape, or form.

May be right, but there are loads of websites with a name similar to Google. Think about Blackle, Groovle, Booble, et cetera. Google's logo is just a simple word using a simple typeface and simple colours. Plus Google doesn't have to worry about TooDoogle.com taking over any Google.com audience. Google is the most used website around the globe. Don't think copyright will be an issue.

Either way, I could submit some ideas not too similar to Google's typeface and colours, but in the end it's up to the contest holder to decide what logo he/she wants to buy.
