Since the company offers more than just baked goods, I wanted to use a more broad graphic to represent this company. Bakery aspect and name of the company is tied in by the bite mark.

A cute design, and we are looking for a more sophisticated design. Please view our other post for other designs.

Thank you

Thanks for your feedback! Kept the same concept, but made the style more elegant and sophisticated.

Kmdesign #45

This design 45 moved closer. As of tonight we are liking designs 27, 11, 12, 25, as they seem to have a more modern day, contemporary look. How can you make a design that is less sweet and more contemporary? You would have thought that we liked hearts but can you do a stylized cake?

Thank you

A person would think that one would know what they like in 1 second, we take a little longer. As you can see we moved your design very close to the top. We are trying to find the logo that would look so cute, elegant and sophisticated on the apparel and this could really be that. Could you give us a second version with the beautiful and delicious some where, I believe under the current design????

The design we have ranked as number 1 today seems to "pop" and says we are about cake. But we do not know if this one would be as good on the apparel as your design. Your design is great, simple, a little bit suggestive, but not over the top. Any suggestions you have are welcome. We are looking for the apparel logo that may end up being different than the web logo, but the goal is to find one that works both places well

Thank you

Thanks for all your feedback! I modified the typeface, made the graphic a stylized cake, and add the tag line. Let me know if this is more on the right track or if you have any changes. Thanks again.

Here is the revised version with the heart. I changed the shape of the heart to fit the style of the type better.

Dear Kathleen #45
We love the design and would like to see a few other changes. Could you take the curly line off of the “R”, just the one curly line, we like the rest of the curly lines.

Then position Beautiful and Delicious below the “too eat”.

And then how could you integrate the heart with the bite out it a little more????
The heart in 58 is too big for us, the heart in #45 is about the right size, how do you integrate it into the design a little more, as in 58.

We like the fancy “Pretty” with the not so fancy “too / to eat”

Is it fair to ask for a particular font if seen in another design?

Also like the cake in design #27 the best so far. Again let me know if this is fair to say. We want to do this correctly.

Also any suggestions on our base colors? Currentely we are pink and white apparel......

Thanks again

Thanks for the feedback, I am excited that you like the design. Here are a few more revisions.

I wasn't too sure what heart style you wanted, so I provided an example for each and incorporated it better into the design (#70 & #69). I also made the bite size slightly larger, so it stands out more. I moved the "to eat" further up in the design to compliment the new position of the heart and allow more room for the tag-line.

Unfortunately, I am not allowed to use another designer's font treatment or graphic, but I did try to incorporate my cake graphic into the design more (#71). In regards to base colors, a light pink would look great under the current dark pink of the font and graphic, but you might need to use a darker grey in the logo to make it pop.

Let me know if you want any additional changes. Thanks again, Kathleen!

Dear KMdesign
Lets start with design #45, take off the curly line like you already did in all the other designs, and leave the “too eat” alone.

Then below the too eat add the tag line “Beautiful and Delicious”. By making these changes the “too eat and beautiful and delicious” can be printed larger when compared your other designs. I do not believe we could get those to show up well on apparel if we keep the beautiful and delicious between the “P” & “Y”.

Also like the position and style of the heart in #69 best. It kind of sits on top of the “Y”.
It’s a really cute design, it seems to “click”.

Do not care for the floating cake in #57. The cake in #51 is a little better but needs to become part of the logo. Let’s not mess with the cake just yet. Let’s do the above suggestions first.

Thanks

KMdesigns #81 and #58

I think we are getting close. Let’s stay with design #81 but have less curly lines. Almost like the lines in design #58. But if you could make them a little thicker, not cross other lines and blunt the ends just a little so they do not come to a point. This is to make it silkscreen and embroider better.

Thank you

Great ideas! I think making the swirls thicker brings all the elements together. Let me know if you need additional changes made. Thanks again for the feedback. Kathleen

Dear Kathleen #90

Looks great. And "swirls" seems to be a better word than "curly". Thank you for all your work. This is our first time to use logo tournament so the question is; since #90 is the one we like best of your designs is the not interested bin the correct place for the rest of your designs? Seems like this works, as we have worked through the process to get this one design the way we like it.

We extended the contest last night, I think to give us more time to take all this in. Again it looks great, thanks for all the changes

Thank you

Welcome to the site!!

I actually just joined earlier this month, but what I have learned so far is that most designers want to see at least one of their designs ranked, so they can receive points and improve their overall rank among other designers. We all hope that our design is ranked first :) but if not, then we like to see how it compares to the rest. The higher the ranking, the more points designers receive. I think classifying my other designs as "not interested" works great in helping to keep things organized.

Thanks again for all your feedback! It really helped create a finished logo design. Let me know if you think of any other changes you want made.

Dear Kathleen.

This has been a great process but its real work, for you, and for us on this side of the table, its like learning to walk in just a few days, plus we have the deadline. But do not read me wrong, this has all been good with you.

We still love your work and as you can see we moved you over one ranking. We asked to take off some of some of the swirls to make it print better but that also did something else? So with all that said what are your thoughts? What could we do to let your design “flow” some more?

It feels like we know you after all the great designs, so we want to keep the process with you alive. And understand my boss has not seen all this today so she may change my mind this evening. We have been married 36 years and sometimes she thinks I make mistakes, can you even believe that?

Thanks so much

Thank you Carro!! I have also really enjoyed working with you on this logo and I definitely want to make sure that at the end you have no doubts regarding the final logo you pick.

Let me try playing around with the swirls a little bit more. Do you prefer the swirls in #81, but need them thicker in weight? Or should I try some new swirl combinations? I will start playing around with a couple different options.

And congrats on 36 years that is absolutely amazing and shows you have a great relationship, even if she sometimes thinks you make mistakes :)

Some new variations. Altered some of the swirls and attached letters in certain entries to give the overall design more movement and flow. Let me know if these are on the right track or if you want any changes made.

Thanks, Kathleen

Dear Kathleen #81

So far #81 is our favorite of your designs. Your artistry and composition are outstanding. We are moving away from the heart concept somewhat. We have liked it so much all along, however for the most part our focus group has consistently selected designs without a heart. We still like it but thought we would put this out there for your consideration

Thanks so much

Here are some new designs.

#151 Removed the heart and kept same font as seen in entry #81.

Entries #153 and #154 use a new font that I think is beautiful, graceful, and has a great personality to it. It has nice thick swirls that will translate well on any medium and overall design is very clean.

Dear Kathleen

Thank you so much for your new designs and all your great work. We still like #81 best, but the focus group is still pushing back against that design.

Lets see what unfolds over the next day or two when we meet with our focus group.

Thanks again so much

Hi Carro

Thanks for letting me know. I have uploaded a couple new entries with a different type treatment. Hopefully one of these entries will appeal more towards the focus group.

The great thing about the heart graphic is that it doesn't always have to be part of your logo. You can add it on the t-shirts only and use just the type for your main logo. It can become more of an additional marketing tool for your brand.

Let me know if you would like to see any variations of these new entries.

Thanks, kmdesign!

Dear Kathleen / kmdesigns

Just a note to say thank you for all your efforts, great designs and all the feedback. This process is new to us and I think I learned a lot? but sometimes wonder. This was a lotter harder than expected. Its sure a lot of work for the designers, not to know how it will turn out.

Thank you again
