Good evening. I designed a logo for you that is beautiful, femine and classy while still embodying a modern edge and high-end appeal. I opted to go without a cake in the design as a cake would make for a more traditional, less current look. Also, the edgy icon and negative space on the "to eat" type treatment brings this designs up a notch to ensure that it stands out, grabs attention and exudes luxury, quality and style. This logo will translate extremely well onto apparel and allow expansion into other fields. The color palette and design techniques I have used ensure flawless transitioning into black and white, greyscale, one color (ie pink) onto any color background. Please let me know if you are interested in seeing any variations. Thank you.

A very beautiful design. Love the way the first “to” sits inside the “P” of pretty. I initially did not care for the dots around the “too eat” circle. That is why we had it ranked lower

Could you
1 Make the dots into a circle, either touching the pink circle or spaced out from the circle as in the current design, you select

2 Move the new circle with “too eat” down and have it intersect the tail of the Y in some manner. One version could have the y's tail intersect or connect in the very center of the circle, a second version could have the circle hanging from the last loop of the Y's tail, lower than the above version.

3 It also appears that the circle could be made a little smaller to deemphasize it some. I can not tell but it looks bigger than the “too”. I think it should be the same size font or a smaller font and circle to give it a better proportion.

I have no idea what happens to the words beautiful and delicious, your call. They could go away but would like to have them in a version if you can make the logo look as good as it will look without them. Maybe they run under the entire logo almost as a underline. I looked back and this seems like a bad idea tonight, so its back to you on the beautiful and delicious.

Thank you so much, as you can see we moved it up in the rankings, a very beautiful design.

Here is another version, a little more playful with the bite on this one and helps to tie in the "food" aspect while remaining pretty and luxurious. Also played a little with the pink/grey tones.

A different variation to the tail on the Y

Dear Chameleon Concept #89 and #119

Thank you for all the changes you have made, I believe we are still refining our thoughts as you present the different designs.

Please take #89 and remove the tail where it crosses over itself on the finish of the y. Center the disc over the beautiful and delicious and lower the disc a bit. Could you do two versions, one with the dots, and one with a solid circle?

On #119 could you please let the “to eat” be the same color as the “too”, and the pink would then be gone.
And let the tail on the Y mimic the style of P with the too in it. The words too eat will then are inside the loop on the Y, just like the left side of the logo.
This loses the entire circle concept, maybe not good but need to see it
Please put in the Beautiful and Delicious......

Thank you

Dear Chameleon Concept #123 and #122

Theses are very nice.
Would like to try two more and get you thoughts.....................

Take #123 and just extend the tail over to the circle, either touching or just shy of the circle, you deside.

Then lets take #123 make the circle pink, take the pink from inside the circle out, and then make the letters gray, or the same color as the “Too” on the left side of the logo. The tail on the y gets the same treatment as you decide above.

Again very nice work. Do you have any other thoughts for the right side of the logo, instead of the circle. And do you like the dots or the circle better? Any written feedback would be great. It sure seems the circle works, is there another shape you like. Again the target is the young bride 18 to 45.....

Thank you

Variation you just requested. Thank you.
I really like the new layout without the circle. It is dainty, yet modern, beautiful and memorable. I also like the circles. I showed another designer that I work with the initial design with the circle and without me even mentioning the business she already knew it was for a cake bakery. So that is a completely unbiased, uninformed party who immediately read into the logo, accurately. On the reproduction side, the solid circle rather than dots would be easier to embroider, however all of them are feasible on any medium. My personal favorite is the one with no circle, and the tail on the "y" mimicing the "p", but that is just from a cosmetic perspective. I think it is the most beautiful and really like that design overall. However I think the circle ones are more industry specific and give more of a "bakery" impression, and are equally as attractive. Many of the most recognizable logos are just wordmarks with no icon (ie. coca cola) I think this look is more high-end, however leaves a lot up to interpretation (You wouldnt know coca cola is for a beverage company just by seeing the logo). So it is all about the vision you have. Does this help?

I also completed the other request for 123 with the pink circle outline and grey typography but it just doesnt look good and doesnt meet our design standard so I didnt bother submitting it. Let me know if you still wish to see it. :) Happy to make any other modifications you are still interested in seeing!

Dear Chameleon,

So far we like 127 best. Could you try an oval instead of the circle? Extend the tail over the top of beautiful and delicious and center the oval above the elongated tail.

Also a second thought on the tails of the tty in pretty. We love the fullness of the loops in the tails but could you keep the shape while shortening them some. The idea is to keep the rich full design while making the logo a little shorter in overall height

You do good work!!!!!
Thank you

Hello Carro. It is my pleasure to be working with you. I am enjoying being a part of this design's evolution trememdously and appreciate all of your valuable direction and critiques. I hope that together, we can create the perfect design that will exceed your expectations and serve you well for many years of successful business in the future! Here is my newest variation based on your most recent feedback. I decided to meld the tail of the 'Y' with the ampersand to give it a modern and unique edge that will make the design standout even further. It is a simple, but memorable flair which you can never have enough of in the design world. Also, from a cosmetic perspective, this in my opinion looks better than having the tail extend to the end of the "Beautiful & Delicious". That gave it an unbalanced and slightly distended appearance. I look forward to your feedback! Thank you kindly, Stefanie

Dear Chameleon,
Please do not remove any of your designs. We like a lot of them but do not fully understand the impact of the ranking process. We have moved some of yours to the bottom of the ranked stack to keep, but do not want to lose them. Suggestions?

Thanks

Hi Carro,

I would be happy to leave them all up for your reference. The general rule of thumb is to have the designs in order of your actual preference at least by the time the contest ends so the points can be awarded to the designers accurately. There are many contests, more often than not actually, that have all of the ranked designs from the same designer, because of the evolution process and numerous variations. There are a lot of designs and organizing them is no easy task so until you have chosen a winner or the contest ends, you should rank them in whichever way is easiest for you!
I will be submitting the newest evolution shortly! Thank you!

Dear Stefaine, #150 #156

Well we like the y's "full figured bottom" on design #150 better. It makes the t's and y look just a lot better. Could you add this "full figured bottom" to your latest design #156. Sounds funny. Also is the bigger oval too big? In some "small" way the smaller looks better to me, Kay likes the bigger, any help or ideas on the sizing? Thanks again so much!!!!

Here is a new version with the tails of both "t's" within the "y" while keeping the tail of the y slightly shorter in length than the original but not as short as the most recent version. This will allow the design to be placed onto a cap and still keep the proportions at a natural ratio. I slightly modified the size of the oval. This one is a happy medium between the smaller and larger sizes. I think the proportions on this one are best suited to the rest of the logo. What are your thoughts? Coming from a marketing and branding background (along with design) my personal opinion is that the design with the reflected tails circling the "too" and "to eat" is still the one with the most visual appeal. Taglines and the oval can also be added and interchanged to the design to suit the needs of other purposes as well. (ie. caps, special events, ads etc.) Just a thought! Thank you! Stef

Dear Stefanie,

We agree if you are talking about design #126. It seems this design is more integrated than where we took you with the last design. We like the last design a lot but would love to see how you would put the “final touches” to the dressed up #126. Also if we select one of your designs do we get all your designs or just the one single design? I sent this question to Logo tournament just a few minutes ago but thought it would be ok to ask you directly, and it may vary per designer. Design #160 looks very professional, but how do we integrate all the elements into #126, and keep the appeal? I hope we are talking about the same one!!!!!

Thanks again.
