Tim works with his students individually to help them identify their areas of strength and those needing improvement. He then shows students how to use their strengths to address their weaknesses. Tim also incorporates real-world examples to jumpstart their enthusiasm for even the densest subject matter.

Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
Good start! Can you incorporate the student and tutor? It would also be great to see a parent (pref. mom) looking over the kitchen counter with a look of approval.
I really like the colors you selected. Can you create Tim (burgandy) the (green) Tutor (burgandy)?
The books are cool, is that an original graphic? If so, or if it is open source, it could be the logo. I am thinking of having Tim the Tutor cascade down from each book ( similar to The North Face).
Additionally, I would also like to see a font that appeals to parents that are in their late thirties and early forties. The winner of this contest may go beyond simple logo and use java or similar to create an intro that reflects themes of hit tv shows in the late eighties thru early to mid 90s where families strived for success. Think cosby show, different world, fresh prince (in particular - imagine a cross between Will Smith's cool and Carlton's preppy confidence) as well as shows like The Wonder Years (awkwardness caught on homevideo) and in particular Family Ties (that has a portrait style drawing intro).
Feel free to make the characters diverse. My students are often the offspring of international/interracial marriages. Check out www.timthetutor.org and see what you think would go well ( i use godaddy.co website tonight, so preferabbly comething compatible with easy upload)
Keep up the good work, Sudhanshu. The $375 auction (a $125 premium) is meant to inspire artists such as yourself to create, above and beyond. If you add value, I will make sure it is acknowledge. Even if you are not picked as winner, I will figure out a way to compensate you and others that add value to my website.
Please continue to post your updated work. I can also be reached privately, through email on website www.timthetutor.org or tutormetimothy@gmail.com.
