(Re Entry #4) OK, let's see more detail on the halo, though subtle may ultimately work best. I'd also like to see the "INC." compressed and moved to the right of the "V." Not sure about the font. I prefer the font used in Entry #1, though the one you chose may work better with this design.
I played around with that "INC." for quite some time. It just didn't look interesting and more like an afterthought. But that's just my critical self talking. I've uploaded that variation. Coming up are some new fonts that work with this logo!
Thanks, I appreciate your work. Can I try both of these without the haloes? Not sure yet which way I want to go on that. Also, on Entry #12, the "INC." seems to be hanging out there a bit more than necessary. Perhaps increase font size to tuck it in some?
#53 is close, but not quite there, so please do another variation on that one. I definitely need a gold rim on the "IV", but the slanted version on the "V" only isn't quite right.
#53 is still the best, I think, because the gold pops better on the "V". But I'm out of ideas, except maybe to move the gold strip on the left plank of the "V" to the inside, thus adding dimension. You might then have to add a gold strip to the right side of the "I" as well.
Are we able to remain in touch after this ends? I'd like to have a brochure designed as well.
Hi, sorry for barging in, just trying to understand the company/concept here. Am I to understand that Thomas IV Inc. works with film and is directed only to Christian and Catholics? Because that's the impression I get from the #53 design. (which by the way looks nice).
In your brief/wish list, I perceived that Thomas IV Inc was a consultant/information company, collecting information about viewer groups, specifically viewer demographics from all types of belief systems, as well as family demographics. Maybe I was wrong?
Of course the client is always right and can not be questioned, however I just wanted to mention how I as a receiver/beholder of the logo only see a movie company with a Christian/Catholic approach.
On #51, please slightly darken the definition of the film strip (the "I"), and also put the "V" in front of the "I", as you've done in the new entries. I'm thinking we're not going to get the gold shading of the purple "IV" right, so a modified #51 is going to be my first choice.
One has the purple removed completely for simplicity. The second has the purple strip but the V is moved over and starts on the right hand corner of the strip.
I like #96, but please align the "V" perfectly at the top with the film strip. (It shouldn't start on either the right or left-hand corner of the strip.)
I like the larger "T" and the sparkle effect in #115. I'm also concerned that the "V" in #100 is too dominant, making the company look like "Thomas V Inc."
