It looks great - I think that we are close to what I am looking for.Could we try to have just a little bit more space between the text lines? Not a lot, just very very little, to ensure that the embroydering will look nice. And speaking of the text, I would probably like a text a bit more classic (as whisky is kind of classic). What do you think about using something like "Portal" in #43? Would that work?I notice a slight difference in the colour of the glass between the white and the black version.Would you be able to try out pantone 1385C and pantone 1395C on both backgrounds? 13 years ago The Whisky Portal Client Ah - sorry. With "text a bit more classic" I meant "font a bit more classic". Sorry for the confusion. 13 years ago Mr_Do Logo Designer No problem, the font you referenced is the same as the one I am using, but mine has a customised letter R 13 years ago Mr_Do Logo Designer Entry #61 Entry #60 Entry #59 Entry #58Here are the colour variations also a little more space between the lines of text.Gonna try out some alternative fonts nextThanks for the feedbackGary 13 years ago Mr_Do Logo Designer Entry #68 Entry #67 Entry #66 Entry #65Some font variationsThanks 13 years ago The Whisky Portal Client Thanks. Mind the spelling of "Whisky" :-)I think font-wise we are down to your original font, with or without the customised "R"...?Dennis 13 years ago The Whisky Portal Client Colour variations: Let us go for the lighter version (Pantone 1385C). I think it looks great on both backgrounds.Dennis 13 years ago Mr_Do Logo Designer oops! sorry about the spelling:(Entry #70 Entry #71As the original font but without the customised RThanksGary 13 years ago The Whisky Portal Client Hi GaryNo problem with the spelling - you are not the only one to do this :-)I will need a bit of discussion internally about the "R". So far I think the best entry is #71.I am looking a bit on the glass. I love the shape, but could we try to just move it a little bit up (or the text a little bit down) so the text is centeret height-wise?Dennis 13 years ago Mr_Do Logo Designer Thanks,I'm blaming the spelling mistake on a lack of caffeine this morning:)Entry #72has the glass a bit better aligned to the textHeading out for a few hours so I'll get any further requests done then if that's ok.ThanksG. 13 years ago The Whisky Portal Client Looks really great. We are close now :-)When you're back it would be great to see the same logo with black background. No hurry. In a few hours I will have to leave for a whiskytasting, so I will see it late tonight or tomorrow morning.D. 13 years ago Mr_Do Logo Designer Entry #88Black background, thanks for the feedback.G. 13 years ago The Whisky Portal Client Thanks for #133. But I prefer #72 with no lines, and whisky without the "e", even though you're Irish :-)Dennis 13 years ago Mr_Do Logo Designer lol, not doing very well with the spelling in this contest....fail:( 13 years ago The Whisky Portal Client Hi GaryI talked with a friend that will use the logo for embroydering. He asks us to make "THE" a little bigger, and consequently move "WHISKY PORTAL" a little bit down, so the curve on the glass would kind of continue out in the "L".He did som magic on his computer, so I have a jpg file that I can send you to illustrate what he means, if you have an email I can use?Dennis 13 years ago
