this is an interesting concept, but we do not have palm trees in Martha's Vineyard. we are in a temperate climate- think oak and maple trees. Can you please update?
Thank you all for the great early designs! In addition to our beautiful beaches and lighthouse, Martha’s Vineyard is comprised of six small towns all with their own unique character. You can search online to see images but think of quaint storefronts and restaurants. We do not have any chain or fast food restaurants here- these are all home grown. It would be cool to see an example of a town center incorporated somehow either literally or as a silhouette.
Here are some images to get you started again there are plenty online.
We have a rich history of fishing and farming and landscapes that reflect farm to sea as well as several quaint towns. It would be great to see more options that include these type of landscapes and town scapes in addition to the lighthouse.
I really like it> I think the accuracy of the lighthouse may be of importance( I could be wrong). the Aquinnah lighthouse is the base but it is slightly different than this. love it though
