Our Ideas & Additional Information
DESIGNERS : PLEASE READ THE BRIEF
At The Sufferfest, we make cycling training videos. These are videos that cyclists can download and watch for a really hard, painful and effective workout.
To watch the videos, the cyclists hook their bikes up to 'indoor trainers' and watch the videos on televisions or ipods or laptops.
What you need to know is that cyclists like to suffer. It's part of our vocabulary. And The Sufferfest also has a little bit of attitude - we're classy, but we're also just a little bit tough on our customers (tough love). You can see our stuff at http://www.thesufferfest.com. I encourage you to look at the reviews of our videos so you can get some further insight into the personality of our customers and The Sufferfest (http://www.thesufferfest.com/video-sufferfests/rave-reviews-for-the-sufferfest/).
I'm happy to see logos that are simple, with a subtle indication of pain or suffering (tears, cracks). Including elements of bicycles (wheels, handlebars, cranks, chainwheels) might also be interesting, but isn't necessary. Or clever things that speak to riding a bike indoors - like a bike outline in a box.
I"m most interested in a clean, crisp logo with a subtle indication of suffering. Although, perhaps there is even some irony in doing something really ornate?
NOTE: ALL entries will be ranked, but I will only rank one version of each concept submitted (e.g., the same logo with multiple versions will only have one version ranked).
