cyclist in debris and cracked crankset

hi ibot. no 20 is probably the stronger effort - it's modern with a cycling element. probably not distinctive enough, though. i like the idea of the cyclist getting a little shredded, but that image looks a bit too clip-art style. don't worry about putting in the tag line...it's not necessary. please keep exploring ideas...

34-38 are probably your strongest efforts with the font - that looks good. the image of a bike with barbed wheels certainly looks painful! i'd like to stay away from a full image of a rider on a bike...something more suggestive of a bike or parts of a bike or legs or teardrops (of pain) would be better...if you read the design notes, i'm looking for something more subtle...

more focus with crankset as the most important component for a bike . I'm a MTB rider so i know how crankset being tortured when i'm go for extreme offroad with my bike. :)

Just bit question,
Which one do you prefer for your logo? more simple and refined or bit rough and more complex?

thanks for your question. i think i like it a bit rougher...or perhaps refined with a bit of roughness? i'm not sure, to be honest, which i know isn't terribly helpful. i like the idea of the head being blown away in 53, but the image is a bit too 'real' perhaps explore something a little more abstract? would also like to see you explore a few other new concepts...

thanks for those versions. the idea of the tear is one i mention elsewhere in my brief, but nobody has taken me up on it yet, perhaps you can explore some ideas using a tear as the icon...?

thanks, i bot. looking at that, i think it might be a little too graphic. perhaps just a red tear and no eye? also, customers talk about leaving a pool of sweat on the ground after every workout. perhaps there is something there?

I think only human can feel the surfer and pain, not bike part.So i try again focus with cyclist as main concept . Cyclist in bloody. Just let me know what you think.

thanks, ibot. yes, agree - only we can feel the pain! a little too bloody, but keep trying...

thanks for those. i think youve gone as far a you can with those...not quite what im looking for. perhaps try something a little less bloody and agressive? see brief for ideas.

I just bit confuse with your preference, since you rank some cartoony style in higher place.I don't think cartoony style will match with the surfer concept.:)

thanks for those new ones. 162 is the strongest, i think. good effort there. the ranking isn't so much about cartoony or not cartoony, but about designers doing something a bit more original....i try to put efforts that do something a little different than everyone else up higher...
