Color Preferences
Natural colors to align with idea of an oak, tree(s), piedmont, etc
therefore tans, greens, creams, browns, sienna-esque
Our Ideas & Additional Information
i. The idea of an oak tree denotes strength, longevity, growth, and more
ii. Additional Info: the company name is derived from Siena, Italy. It is a beautiful place in the Tuscan countryside. It is also the birthplace of the color sienna thanks to refining a specific kind of clay from that region.
iii. My first name means: wood, forest; dwells in the woods; from the battleground; middle name means: defender; spear strength
iv. Considered using an oak tree as the base/bulk of the logo; oak grove; thought about showing the roots spread both deep and wide; unsure how to incorporate the company name; unsure if the tagline/slogan will work if incorporated
v. Live in the “Piedmont” region of North Carolina; Raleigh-Durham area; Raleigh is also named “The City of Oaks”
vi. There are TONS of oak tree type logos out there; how can mine be different/unique?
vii. The color sienna history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sienna
viii. There was a thought to potentially use “S” or “SG” for shorthand or somehow be part of the logo

Thanks for all the submissions. I've been out of pocket and haven't been able to provide any feedback. I will provide specific thoughts on the ones that are catching my attention.

I've received some feedback and collectively the "Service Integrity Excellence" has won out over the "Strengthen Your Search" tagline/slogan. If incorporating, please use this guidance.

Thanks for all the submissions and feedback. I've provided some specific feedback and comments on a lot of the individual designs above. In no particular order of preference, the following are a few general notes for the larger audience [I am using submission order when referring to the specific design as the ranking will continue to change]. Generally positive comments: I like the overall colors of #36; I like the greens of #'s 29, 8, and 9; all the fonts are somewhat and surprisingly similar. Generally negative comments: I don't like the reds in #38 and #39 or the bright colors in #22.

I have gotten some very good feedback on the tagline "Strengthen Your Search" so that is back in the mix. I seem to gravitate to the 2 to 3 color schema. I have not gotten a lot of comments from Millennials and that is a key demographic.

I recently re-ranked and will be sending out another survey to a broader audience. I am trying to drive as much attention and feedback as possible over the next 24 hours. Thank you for everyone's feedback, effort and skill!

I also really like the font on #8. As mentioned above, the fonts are fairly similar but I gravitate to #8 more than the others at this point.

I am seeing consistent feedback on "Strengthen Your Search" tagline. Let's make this the tagline going forward.

Thanks again for the continued support and effort. Everything is going along well in my opinion. It is interesting how there are several very different designs still in the mix. I am getting good feedback from the surveys I am posting and they are very diverse.

The typography on #62 is great. It is similar to the other designs but stands out to me.

It is coming down to the wire. Although I don't like to push it to the last minute, it means that I really like several of these designs... which is the entire point of this process! Thanks for all the efforts. Now I gotta decide...
