#107 -- could you try some color options? More subdued hues?
We would also like to see if a sans serif typeface would work.
Please and thanks, eMp!

Thank you for feedback, Geoff. Sans serif seems to work nicely, did I get the colors right?

I just uploaded a file to the 'contest attachments' section of the brief named 'colors.jpg; for you.
Can you please apply the colors in that file to a version of your logo #245?
Thanks so much, eMp.

Interested in your opinion: Which one of your versions is YOUR favorite?

It's hard to tell which is my favorite. I like #245 because it's overall colors and font but the green seems a bit washed out or the blue is just dominating too much. While I like the #245 text to be sort of popping out I feel #264 is overally more balanced with green text. Between #263 and #264 I think my decision would depend on how important the text part should be. Since I guess the logo is a bit more important I would pick #264. However, the green color there is not my personal favorite but it does a good job on balancing the logo. Of course, these colors are always tricky and depend on the computer screen and are a bit different when printed on different materials. When printing in small scale I would most likely go with #263 because the text part would be easier to read. Of course, changing text colors for different outputs is the easiest thing to do. So, I'd go with either #263 or #264 because overall they would stand out better on different mediums than #245.
I could try to change the 'River' part blue in green text and vice versa to see how it would work but I think it would reduce the classiness and integrity of the logo.

What I was writing before I received your last comment:

Thanks! #263 and #264 are with new colors. There is a little bit more separation (about 1px) between shapes in the logo icon on last entries (starting from entry #243). I think it adds a bit more 'freedom' to the visual appearence of the logo and might push better results when printing or embroidering the logo. If you feel the separation shouldn't be there then it's very possible to decrease it.

Excellent input. Try #263 and/or #264 with the green you prefer : ) Tweak color as you wish.
Please and thanks so much, eMp!

Thanks again, Geoff. I submitted a bunch of color variations now, some are very slightly different but they still make a change. Now it's hard to choose though. Your suggested colors are still pretty good but I tend to lean towards a bit more saturated ones.

Yes, colors like on #279 are pretty appealing, they have a bit more energetic feel to them.
