#6 and
#7 - I like the square shape (we put out a nearly square calendar, and this would fit perfectly on it), and the grid is sort of reflective of buildings, which sends a nice subliminal message, but the letters come off a bit like an eye chart split up like that....color is definitely my pick when the medium allows :)

#4 best but we would change the leaves to palm fronds. (NOTE: here in Oviedo, we have sabal palms - they have different fronds from other types - it's not much of a Hollywood tree :)
We like the look of
#1 but a Roman column doesn't seem to fit Oviedo's architecture.
#3 is nice but maybe a little too modern for "preserving historic architecture."
