The concept is based on a merging of the shape of Oviedo's welcome sign and the look and feel of a National Historic Register site sign, but with the twist of a Florida orange placed atop the image to reflect the vibrancy and sweetness of Florida living.
I like the orange in #18 - and the colors....Oviedo's entryway signs have never impressed me (too hefty a price tag), but your design is intriguing in that it could theoretically be implemented in a plaque placement program around town.....maybe a few less angly lines at the top for a cleaner look (mirroring the bottom). Then it would sort of look like an O in the middle? For that matter, the entire middle could become an orange....that might be a bit far-fetched, but it could work....
This concept is one of a series of concepts we created to evoke the feeling of older architecture and remind viewers of what it is that needs preservation.
