#80 and #81 The logo will be on a white background so we do not want any colored backgrounds within the logo. So Obviously the letters can not be white.
#77#78#79#84 are incomplete because they are missing a Pictoral Mark. We will not rank any entry without a Pictoral Mark.
We have posted on our website examples of motorcycle art that we feel capture the action, passion, and excitement of motorcycling (which are the top three things to communicate through our logo) in order to clarify what we are looking for in a Pictoral Mark.
We think that IF you design a similar image (remember that you are not limited to these examples), it should be located to the left of the words, as they each depict a motorcyclist moving to the right, which would draw attention towards the words "The Moto Channel".
Please do not feel limited by these examples. We are open to any and every suggestion you might have. Thanks!
#105 and #106 No motorcycle wheelies. We have posted on our website examples of motorcycle art that we feel capture the action, passion, and excitement of motorcycling (which are the top three things to communicate through our logo) in order to clarify what we are looking for in a Pictoral Mark.
#116 Very good Pictoral Mark! Please resubmit with the following changes. Remove the background color. The background should be clear. And change the fonts and letter arrangement to be like your entry #79, except that in entry #79 we do not like the lines going through the letters, there should be no lines going through the letters.
So use the words from #79 (but without lines through them) and the Pictoral Mark from #116. Thanks!
#118 Thanks for the adjustments. But here the motorcycle is too large compared to the words. We don't want the Pictoral Mark to be stronger than the Word Mark. Please submit another entry with the motorcycle/motorcyclist the same height as the words. Thanks!
and you will see the SPEED logo which has the font we are interested in. It is a little thinner than your font. But please only use the font, not the red background/graphic that the fonts are on top of (and of course the font should be colored not white).
#129 Nong, now we are in the judging phase. We would like to see two separate versions of your entry #129.
Please change your blue and red colors to the following blue and red colors, with RGB # from Photoshop:
Blue #0000FF Red #FF0000
And submit the revised logo with just the color change.
Then please submit another version of the logo which has the color change and a thin grey border around the letters, with the following RGB # from Photoshop:
#199 Thank you for this entry. We can now see all the details and we like the design of this Pictoral Mark but possibly with some additional color (blue) it would become more integrated with the words. Could you change some of the red details to blue, such as the stripe in the middle of the helmet and the rims of the goggles (but leave the lenses clear). And anywhere else on the rider or the motorcycle you think it might improve the logo by changing from red to blue.
#214 We noticed that you have changed the rider's right leg (knee) to black. Please return the color of the right knee to red.
Also, we would like to like to see a little more detail on the front forks. The right fork (so the fork on the left from our perspective) needs a thin black line to show the outside edge of the fork. And the other fork has no definition. Possible with a few white lines or gray lines, you could draw a little definition on that side of the fork.
Also is it possible to give some definition to the rider's left boot by using dark red (RGB #8B0000)?
Also, Is it possible to design a little detail on the rear wheel of the motorcycle? Now there is no detail on the rear of the motorcycle. With the proper perspective, the rear wheel would be seen a little from the side because the motorcycle is going around a turn. We hope you understand this request. Sorry for any confusion.
#216 Very good! We prefer this entry to your original entry #199. We suppose your entry #199 was designed to be on a dark background, but our logo will always be on a white background, so we would like to see most of the white areas filled in with a similar color to the surrounding area. But please leave the white areas in the helmet, the face and goggles, the number plate (which looks like a headlight) and the front edge of the front fender.
We would like to see the remaining white areas changed to a color lighter than the areas which are now colored in order to distinguish light from and shadow
So we will make a suggestion that will give you an idea of what we prefer. For example, if you work in Photoshop, you can fill in the white area on the blue shirt by using the same color blue, but reduce the opacity for that area (layer), to 50%, or 25% or some gradation between two percentages, so it is lighter than the other blue and this gives a look of sunlight versus shadow. Or possibly you can think of another way to design a similar look.
Same with the motorcycle, you can fill in the white areas with a black layer that has a reduced opacity.
Also, in comparison to the right handlebar (so the handlebar on the left from our view), the left handlebar seems incomplete. Can you complete the left handlebar?
Finally, please remove the red area around the edge of the helmet and, instead, use a thin black line to distinguish the edge of the helmet (but leave the red strap of the goggles), which should go along the entire edge of the helmet, including above the forehead/goggles..
Thank you for all your effort! You are doing an excellent job!
#228 Great! Thank you for making the changes. Almost perfect. Just a few more small changes:
#226 Please change the line under the words so that there is no fading or gray. So it should be black (RGB# 000000) all the way to the end of the word CHANNEL. Do not change the design of the line, or the shape or the length, only the gray.
#228 Please add the number 1 to the number plate. Please use the font style Impact (which is in Photoshop) but without italic (no italic please!). We are not sure what color is best so please submit three entries: one with a black number 1 (no bold) and two others with a colored number 1, blue with red trim and the other red with blue trim. You may want to use bold for the entries with a colored number 1 to allow for the trim.
Of course you should use the same blue (RGB# 0000FF) and red (RGB# FF0000).
