What We Do
We are a law firm that is exclusively focused on family law matters such as highly contested divorces, child support and child custody.
Industry
Color Preferences
We are open to any colors, but only want one or two in the logo. We have previously used Red and Black, but would like to consider something else. Perhaps Blue and Gray? Or a Sage Green and Black? We're not sure... surprise us.

Definitely NO yellow, NO orange, NO pink ... and probably no purple.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Do NOT include pictures of gavels, courtrooms or anything that resembles clip art related to legal services.

We would like to see two elements to the logo:

1. a very strong "icon" that can be used separately on things such as social media icons (i.e. a symbol that will look good in a 100-by-100 pixel box); this will likely be some stylized version of a "G" or maybe an "NG"

2. The words "Law Office of Natalie Gregg" next to this icon that can be used at the top of the Web site, letterhead, on the business card, etc.

An example of this can be seen in our last Logo Tournament winner (which we attached as well):

We are not sure if we want the words to just be "Law Office of Natalie Gregg" or whether there should be a second line that says "Family Law."

Here are some other law firms with logos that we like:

It is very important that the logo include BOTH an icon (i.e. Letterform Mark or possibly an emblem) in addition to the words "Law Office of Natalie Gregg" (i.e. a Wordmark).

The icon will be used as our firm's avatar on things such as our Twitter feed, Facebook profile, etc. It will therefore need to be a stand-alone image.

The full logo (icon + words) will be used on the top of the Web site, on the top of the letterhead, on envelopes, and on business cards. It likely will not be put on the firm's office wall, but might be in the future.

We really like the first batch of entries that we received -- you all are very talented!

I just posted some very initial rankings, but need to show a few others before these rankings become tightened up. There are some near the bottom of mine who might get moved to the top by the morning!

In general, we are looking for an icon that is to the left of the wordmark. And we prefer the icon to have a width comparable to its height, so that it can fit in something like the 48-by-48 Twitter icon and still look good.

Keep on throwing out new ideas -- including something totally different, if you feel inspired. We think that we know what we want, but we are open to something very different if the overall tone conveys the image of "Power -- Prestige -- Value" that we are trying to convey.

Thanks!!!

Some great designs, everyone!

We have made some good progress on narrowing what we like.

The ICON is shaping up nicely and we have lots of options. This is great, but it's making it very hard to choose. You all are VERY talented! We have some very different styles, and we're trying to find the right combination of "power, prestige and value" while avoiding some of the cliche images of other attorneys.

(This is a challenge, because we want a pretty basic logo and there is not much you can do with an "N' and a "G" -- but you all have really impressed us so far)

The WORDMARK is becoming much more clear for us. Here is what we would like:

LINE ONE: The Law Office Of
LINE TWO: Natalie Gregg
LINE THREE: Family Law

We are inclined towards all caps/small caps, we think. We also are prefer the designs that feature some kind of line that "offsets" the word "family law" to indicate it's a slogan/tagline and not part of the company name.

In terms of colors... we are thinking we likely want a darker blue along with either/both gray & black.

Thanks!

Thank you to EVERYONE for all of your time and hard work, but we have just narrowed down to our Top 5. This was very challenging, because so many of you brought forth great ideas. Please know how much we appreciate each of you for the work that you did.

Best of luck to all those who did not make the final five!

-- and many thanks to those who were in the top ranking; we look forward to working with you to choose the winner of the contest!

May the love of Easter fill all of your hearts with joy & peace, this weekend and always,
