I like the look and overall feel of #72-#74, but have a few concerns/comments:
- Looks very similar to Wynn Las Vegas' written logo. Same colors, font, and look. Need to differentiate ourselves since we trade business cards with them a lot.
- I think the "I" in "Insiders" may need to be capitalized.
- We need a mark to go with the written logo. To be used on merchandise, social networking profile pics, certain documents, email signature, etc.
#70 and #71 I may like better with a different mark. I am not feeling the sphere with two people on the sides of it for a luxury Las Vegas travel company.
#49, #50 and #51. I don't love that font and the elegant, mysterious feel isn't quite there, but, I am interested in seeing another version of an emblem style logo if you can.
I'd like to see a similar shaped and simplified version of #43. Using a more elegant sleek font. Also, the final logo will most likely need a mark to go with the written portion of the logo.
I attached a "rough sketch" picture done in Microsoft Paint in the Brief. This shows the simplicity I am looking for. Maybe you can do some plays on the mark using those two simple shapes in the background. Maybe they can go through the two "i"s in "The'I'ns'i'ders"?
I'd like to see one of #88 and #87 keeping the "E" as a door, but in just white and black.
Make the "E" the same length horizontally as the 2nd "E"
Use gold, silver and if you see any good colors that work, no red, for the non-black and white portions.. Put up just one or two versions with the "EI" in contrasting gold or silver (not sure on this).
Versions with and without this: a thin red line representing a red carpet going up to the door just beneath it and turning into a gold or silver line until running into "Las Vegas". The "EI", line and "Las Vegas" should all be the same color in each version.
Not sure if it is possible to make the S, R, D can be slightly less round without changingt the overall look of the font, but if you can I'd like to see that.
Then I'd also like to see versions with the below instead:
Again I like the font in #88 and #87 and if possible make the S D and R slightly less round
Instead of the door with the "EI", just make the "E" normal font and color. Combine the star from #37 outlining the "IN" with "THE" above the star like #37. Use a print font version for LAS VEGAS.
Use gold, silver and if you see any good colors that work besides red for non-black and white portions..
Red Carpet is on the wrong side, too close to all the letters and not thick enough. Suppose to be on the left leading up to the door. And not touching all the letters, should be slightly below it. I'm going to eliminate all the red carpet ones.
I like the idea of entry #112 but I would rather see you incorporate the door in the "I" rather than in the "E" from the word THE. Can you do this same design with a double-door in place of the "I" and maybe making it red to have it stand out. Thanks
Can you show black and white background versions shrinking #91 and #92 and completing the signature with fancy manly pen, to signify a personal touch? If you can alter the font, I'd also like to see the loop on the d cut out and the s line extended out and upward connecting to the base of the pen also versions the way the font is now.
I don't love the new concepts, like I had said earlier, I'm not sold on the script INSIDERS. If I do decide to go with script, I like the #91 and #92. #191 and #192 look too much like the movie logos, Indiana Jones and The Sandlot. #190 and #70 are nice, but there is no mark besides the 5 stars and that has been done before.
Here is what I'd like to see next if you wish:
My favorite font is #179. I'd like to see this font using the same shape and proportions of my current logo as follows:
Creative more complex and larger than mark currently in #179 in place of first "I". It will need to look like an I so doors if you wish or if you have something else feel free. Earlier on you did a mark of two people on a globe, so I know you have the ability to make creative marks.
THE to sit centered above the "N" and the "S" and LAS VEGAS right aligned beneath INSIDERS. Make sure you make the mark tall enough to go just beneath LAS VEGAS and just above THE.
Font is good and shape is good, but I'm not sold on the mark. Mark is very important, especially since we have found a good font. Not necessary to replace I with mark, but definitely need a more impressive mark. Reference to 208 and 209
I think #208 and #209 are too close to my entries #34 and #35. Copying is not allowed here. Ysonmez, I strongly recommend you remove those entries and work with your original ideas. The typesetting and logo mark is almost identical to mine.
I like the type treatment in both #211 and #213, but not the icon's.
I'd suggest sticking with that type treatment, forgetting the doors concept, and presenting new icons. Probably will work best above the type.
Your color schemes have been very impressive in all the logos. I encourage you to stay in this and keep submitting new ideas, you definitely have the talent to win.
The idea with the doors icon should only be used if you are trying to form an "I", otherwise I don't want to use the doors. Reference to #234
#91 may end up winning, but I still don't know, which is why I want to get another concept from you that I can place in the top three. Up to you if you wish to keep submitting new designs...I know you have done a ton of designs for me and may be getting frustrated. Sorry I am so picky and a little all over the place. Still would love to see some new ideas if you wish. Remember, no doors, unless you are using them to form an I.
