very cool anate 7, very cool. . .love the font. . .would it be possible to see the text "Gorp Bar" skewed a little less so the word "Bar" is more easily read? I also LOVE the wings on entry number 9. Awesome.

The only other thing I was wondering, was about the angle we are viewing the tractor. . .and the direction it's facing. . .if you could play with that a little, like face the tractor the other way, and maybe play with the angle of view a bit that would be great. . .. I really love the feel. . very edgy. . yes, you did indeed follow the instructions! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Hello Anate! Thanks for playing with the perspective. These are my thoughts, I really like the wide stance of the front wheels in entry #9 and am wondering if you could alter that in the new designs. I also like the wide powerful looking back tire in entry #9 as well and am thinking it would look really great on the new design perspective as well.

Thanks for all your efforts. . . .the edgy look is awesome!

hello again :)
here is the edited design. You were right, it works much better with the wide tiers.

Hi Anate! Awesome, thanks for changing the tires. . .the only thing bothering me is the grill (front of the tractor), in entry 14 and 9. The weights hanging on the front of the tractor grill are making it confusing to look at. .. wondering if you could clean up the grill a bit by taking away the weights? Since we are farmers, we know why the weights are there, but they may confuse others!

Thanks for going to all the trouble. . .I really appreciate it!

By the way. . .. I also posted photographs of our actual tractor I used for inspiration for this logo on my blog, here is the link: www.gorp.typepad.com

Have a great day,

Hi Anate!

Thank you so much for working with me and my comments/changes. I think we are very close. .. I love your look, and you seem to understand what i'm going for. Thanks for removing the weights from the front of the tractor, that is exactly what I meant. The one thing sticking out to me now is the front tires. . I'm thinking they look too round like donuts? Could you possibly square them off a bit to look more like the tires in entry #14?

I can take more pictures today of our farm tractor, different angles may help? I'll post them later today on my blog, at the same place I put the first batch of pictures.

Thanks again for being so co-operative and willing to make changes. I really appreciate it. . .design concepts are so hard to communicate, but you are making it very easy for me!

Ohhh, I forgot to mention, I don't think we need to include the wheat in the design, it looks awesome without it!

Hope your move went well! Can't believe you are back online already!

Hi Ana!

Thanks for the new versions! Let's work with entry #58 and see what we can do. .. if you can work with the front tires a bit so they are just a tad closer together (so it isn't mistaken for a 4 wheeler) and maybe some lines going around them like treads. .. (like in entry #9) . . then if they are squared off a bit, they won't resemble donuts! I was also wondering if you could play with the colour of the sun. .. .but this can be done last if you are short on time. . .also there have been some comments about the "G" in Gorp being hard to read from a few folks with glasses. .. .could you erase the smudge coming from the top of the "G" so it is just a little crisper?

I know. . .I know. .. lots of changes. .. but we are very close. ., I thank you for having the patience to work with my ideas and changes.

Hey Ana. .. .I was just thinking. . what if the tractor was rotated a bit. .. so it looked like it was taking off. . and flying upwards instead of down?.. . .. Don't change the tractor graphically at all! Just maybe rotate?

Ana!

Really like the sun in #128. .. .could you make it a little bigger so the hood of the tractor doesn't get lost in the white background?
