The Great GORP ProjectLogo Design Contest

I was trying to give it a retro tattoo feel. I wanted to express motion and flight. I am working on a more gothic version but this is a good place to start.

Thanks for your designs. .. . yes, I love the tattoo look, but am definitely leaning towards the more gothic feel, and am very curious about what you are working on!

But to speak to this design, I totally get where you are going with this, which is cool but I'm thinking we could do away with the colour (maybe a stripe along the profile at most?) and maybe smooth out the lines a bit to make it look more streamlined and tribal, if that makes any sense? I'm also thinking that it should be facing the other way, so people get the feeling that it's flying forwards and not back. .. .just a few thoughts, I would be very interested to see the changes. . .. as well as your gothic variation!

Hey Alfonzo. .. thanks. .. I've gotten alot of good feedback on your latest designs. . .although the one comment that keeps resurfacing is that people aren't quite sure what the graphic is until they stare at it for a while. . .I was wondering if there was a way to redesign it so that the wings and body of the tractor are more separate from each other?

I have adjusted it to bring out the tractor features. I agree with what you said.
