What We Do
Hi

I am a veteran real estate investor in Maryland. Over the past 13 years, I have flipped over 200 houses.

I also teach people how to get in the business and how to do the same. Unlike so many other real estate education companies, we are local, and we're 100% hands on. Our students learn by doing, rather than by reading books, or watching videos, or useless phone coaching.

FLIPClub is the name of the business. When I thought of the name, I wanted something brash - and kind of "in your face." FLIPClub was a direct take-off of the 1999 movie "Fight Club," with Brad Pitt and Edward Norton.

I have attached a logo, but I'm not in love with it. I'm pretty sure I don't want the logo to be boring and traditional - like with a flipping house in the logo...or something cliche' like that.

I do however want the logo to elicit intrigue. I want it to be brash but elegant. I also need something that would look just as good on a shirt or letterhead, as it would on a website or Facebook banner.

I am 100% open to your designs in terms of color, layout and design. I will say that I like the colors i the attached. I also like the fist with the tattoo on the knuckles.

Play around with the layout of the fist and the words or come up with a completely different concept. I'm open to whatever inspires you.

Take a look at the Maryland State Flag: https://goo.gl/543hyZ

And the FIGHT Club logo: https://goo.gl/qbyWJX

If neither inspires you - feel free to come up with your own color scheme. I would also like a grayscale version of this logo.

OK - so far I really appreciate eveyone's work.

Take a look at Girekedaton's logos and make designs around that idea. Also play with FONTS and the fist. Google "FightClub" and take a look at the font on the soap, then incorporate the fist into the logo.

I'd like to see the fist drawn in parallel lines to make it look as if it was all gray (or whatever color you choose)

I am still open as well to alternate designs but I don't see anything yet that I like. If you want to try something other than the fist - keep in mind that this Club flips houses. We are real estate investors.

Wow - I think I'm really liking Mimmo's idea! MImmo any chance you could show me your idea with a triangle at the top like the roof of a house? Also - do you think you could somehow incorporate the "fist"?

NOTE: The contests is blind in the first stage, designers cannot see each other's work. This is to discourage copying each other.

Great job so far. Can you please take a look at the file I attached and work up a design where the fist is drawn using many thin parallel lines?
