Based on the logos posted so far, it seems logos using just letters are working better; or if incorporating a graphic, the graphic should be a bit more simple/clean in design. Also, we were hoping for the graphic to be more relevant to the concept of the Edge corporation's business as well (i.e., the competitive edge and excellence).

Another concept we can envision is to incorporate a building-like graphic. The building-like design could be made somehow using the letters "E" and "C" in block format. Here's an example: http://www.pixellogo.com/logos-cards/non-exclusive-logo-card/B-Logo-2186. This example gave us the idea of finishing off the blue blocks to make it look like a 2-dimensional E (but our blue would be more of a royal blue color) and the edge of the "E" that forms a "C" (facing the front) could be in a goldish/yellow color to distinguish the 2 letters but still allowing them to be a part of the building-like structure. Or, it could just a be a building-like design (without incorporating the letters) that is relevant to the concept of The Edge Corporation's business. Here's an example of that: http://www.pixellogo.com/logos-cards/non-exclusive-logo-card/B-Logo-2221. We like the 2D or "flat 3D" look as shown in the logo samples in the above links. It's modern and creative, yet still professional and simple.

Just using the letters "E" and "C" to form a creative letterform mark is also another option.

For new incoming designs, pls see comments above. We have not seen many attempts to incorporate the building concept as suggested. Thanks.
