I like it. Can you switch the 2 text colors (Cullen in the dark blue) and add the faded grid in the background on this one
9 years ago

Logo Designer
Will do, only a few minutes...

Thank you!

Ooops! Can you give me an entry number :)

Thanks!

I assume that this one: #108

Hello,

I'm working on new concepts, however if you would like to see my entry #108 with different color scheme, font styles, or thicker / thinner lines, etc. please let me know!

Thank you!

Sorry for the delay, I tried to incorporate many different stock charts into the logo, but those ideas got rejected by me. However, here are some new entries.

Same concept, with "The" on the left: #115
Same concept, different color scheme: #116

Similar to the previous, but with global map in the background (looks screen pixels): #117 and #118

Different stock chart and font style: #119 , #120 and #121

I look forward to your feedback.

Thanks!

Morning! First I wanted to understand how the barchart works (opening / closing price, the highest / lowest price of the day), but actually it's not a complicated thing. At least to read it :)

I uploaded some new designs based on your requests, please let me know which comes closest to your ideas.

Thanks!

Yes, just like this but I was hoping to have the barcharts look light the ray of light that would be coming form the tower, if possible. But you are right there and very close!

Client
can you go back to the font that you were using previously for The Cullen Outlook
9 years ago

Logo Designer
Sure thing! How about these ones: #143 and #144

And even more: #145 , #146 and #147

Client
you are on the right track. Can you put the line above and below The Cullen Outlook
9 years ago

Client
can you make "The" and "Outlook" in a dark Gray. I am trying to have 2 different colors in the title without getting too close to the gray in the tower light. I like the beam of light as yellow
9 years ago

Logo Designer
Good to hear that we're on the right track :)

I uploaded a few new logos (not trying to confuse you), let me know your thoughts.

Just a little adjustment: #157

The upper line (above the text) now is "in line" with the lighthouse (the lower edge of the upper part of the lighthouse).

I just hope I'm clear enough... (?)

Would you like to see some different fonts?

Client
hello! Can you try one where the tower is slightly taller. The beam of light is slightly wider (I would like to see how it looks with more barcharts showing). And lastly, can you NOT fade the beam at the end rather just have it come to an end without fading out.
Thank you very much!

Logo Designer
Here we go, slightly taller lighthouse and wider beam of light (with gradient): #164

Without gradient (PANTONE 123 C): #165

A bit lighter yellow (PANTONE 155 C): #166

Looking forward to your feedback!

Could you update the design in #139, with: the font used in #164; a modification to the far right of the chart - please have the end of the chart only be visible in the 'beam of light', not below it. Also, instead of fading out the light, could you have it end almost like a spotlight hitting a cloud? In that area have the chart climbing upward (but not out of the beam). Let me know if you need any clarification on these points.

Client
Also, could you make 'The' smaller?

Logo Designer
Sure, let me work on it.

Logo Designer
Sorry for the delay. Before finishing the 'chart', I'd like to know your opinion on these: #167 , #168 , #169 , #170 , #171

Client
I dont want the yellow highlight on the tower. The blue shading on the other ones was good. The thickness of the beam is good as you have it. Can you please make the end spotlight more circular and less dark. I like it to be a bit darker than the beam but not as dark as you have it. Add in the barcharts and lets take a look. The barcharts will start off small and then go behind the beam as it gradually gets larger it comes in front of the beam and then ends with the spotlight shining on the end. Does that make sense?
Thank you very much

Logo Designer
Gotcha, thank you!

Logo Designer
Hm... The chart must be visible outside the beam of light as well?

Client
Yes, the chart should look similar to the chart in the #1 ranking

Client
can you darken the barcharts a bit? thanks
9 years ago

Logo Designer
A bit darker chart: #177

Client
ok. Forget the circle highlighting the end of the beam and forget the barcharts outside the beam. we wil be sticking with the barchart INSIDE the beam. Can you go back to the small "the" on top of "cullen outlook". Lastly can you mess around with 1 bar going outside the beam at the end like you had in a few previous ones. 1 with it turning the yellow as it breaks out but you are free to mess around and try a grey color or any other you think looks good for the barcharts . Thank you, almost there!

Logo Designer
Yeah, somewhat agree on these changes, it was getting too crowded. The new ones will be uploaded soon. Thanks!

Light without gradient: #178

Fading light: #179

Bit larger and thicker barchart: #180

Not sure why I'm doing this at this point – I wouldn't like to confuse you –, but a different stock chart in the light: #181 and #182

Client
Some people can't see the barcharts as well in white. We want to explore a little more contrast. Can we see them in gray? Also the same color at this font perhaps? Thanks.

Logo Designer
Sure! You need to rank one of my logos for future updates, in order to submit new entries

Let's finalize those graphic elements that we can, please, so we can focus on the bar-chart and the light. I'd like to know if you're okay with:

1) The current font style?

2) The current blue of the text and lighthouse?

3) The current layout of the text?

—THE—
CULLEN
OUTLOOK

4) The look of the lighthouse?

5) Which design element do you prefer under the lighthouse?
    #128 , #178 or a simple line like in #160

Thanks for your help!

Client
1) yes, the font is fine. 2) the color is fine. Not a big deal but if "cullen" could be a shade darker, that might look pretty cool and more pronounced 3) yes the layout is fine 4) Can you add the light blue shading on the left of the lighthouse. 5) The single line "wave" under the light house is great, just like #178
I would like the barcharts gray in color, close together.
You are awesome!! Thank you!

Logo Designer
Thanks! Here are some new color schemes, please throw out those that definitely don't play.

I'd consider leaving the yellow color, that's just my two cents...

Client
yes, I wanted the beam of light to remain yellow...but the barcharts to be grey. Sorry about the confusion. No fading on the end. Thank you.

Logo Designer
Yes, I totally understood, I just think it's not a lucky combination (gray on yellow), however entry #195 may work.

Feel free to ask for any other modifications that you would like to see.

Thank you!

This is it!! #188 is the winner
Thank you very much for all of your efforts!!

It has a fading light, however sounds great if we have the winner, thanks! I really want you to be happy with the new logo.

Just uploaded something different...

Hello. I just received the files. We would also like to have either a .eps or an .ai file. Also, would it be possible to send versions of the logo with the color scheme flipped, such as a dark blue/black background and light colors for the logo?

Client
There was one version that you submitted with a dark blue background as a reference, but I cannot provide the submission number since it is no longer displayed.
