The Communications LabLogo Design Contest

Thank you for the invite to your contest.

Because the examples you presented were all text based logos, I figured that was the best way to go. A play on the "communication" part of your business name, I added speech marks to give the text some pop.

The word “Hybrid” might look cool if it “hand written”…. Or any other of the words as long as it looks clean with a crazy but elegant touch… Also, that same “hand written” word might be orange or red….

#10 The Speech marks (little blue tornados on the “o”) are good but need some work… But if we add some handwritten words like suggested, “The Communications Lab” should have any distinctive… Just some nice font and color as it is.

I'm working on some revisions as we speak :-)

Please I am not to sure about the symbols in the "o".... letr try to make is simple.... and play with the color....

probable take away the "..." before the "a"...

how would it look if all "Hybrid Think Tank" was in orange?

#25: the idea is there…. Its just a matter of seeing more option for “The Communications Lab”..
For “Hybrid Think Tank”… are there other option of handwritten funky fonts???

I liked the the dots of the i's!!!... Could they be a bit more loud???... mayne another color?? or to make them look like they we put there by hand???.. to give "the communications Lab" the human touch.

I would like to see more options of fonts and color using these two options….

A new "TCL" setup with the added "handmade" dots to the i's.

As for #27 I actually really like the idea of having a handwritten font for the title portion of the logo. The idea for that came from the Hugo Boss logo link you posted. It seems more people oriented with the informal font.

Something completely different. Keeping the "handmade" feel you like, I created an abstract beaker to play off the Lab portion.

#38: "a Hybrid Think tank" is a little too small.. Its very hard to read… try to make it more visible friendly….

Also, the words “The” and “lab” should be just a TINY bit darker but under that same scale of grey.

The only thing that I would ask you to change back to the way it was is the Background... Please make it white, as it was.

With a different bottle. I tried to get across the concept of what you create in the "Lab" are "bright ideas", hence the ball of energy in the beaker.

I'll definitely give it a shot, but please bear in mind that because it would look out of place amongst the other elements of the logo, I'll have to introduce gradients into the lettering to make the whole image more cohesive.

#48: Is it posible for you to send me more option of colors of "the hybrid think tank" and of the lowerr part of the bottle... I loved the idea, but would really like to see more color option. "The Communications Lab" colors are fine!

#65 and #64:... Thanks for the options.... I like better the way #48 looks.... The liquidification and bubbles are very nice. the original version looks better.

I will descard the green... the blue Im going to leave just in case.

Concerning the color blue.. I still like better the orange... By any chance, could the orange be stronger??

I am still searching for an idea that blows my mind... you have been the closest one, but I am sure that you will come up with something totally incredible!

Now for something completely out of the box.

With this logo, I tried to make it seem as if a quote had been taken from a book or newspaper, with the Hybrid Think Tank portion appearing as an excited notation underneath.

In this one, I shaped the words into a box to represent the "thing tank" aspect from the tagline. To even further that, I inserted the beaker to combine the lab/think tank part.

LOL, sorry I'm flooding this competition with entries and no, you're not critical at all, I'd rather you tell me what needs to be changed than just discard a concept because of a small issue :-). And you are right about the "lab" and "the"...it does indeed look unbalanced. I'll see what I can do.

This one is just another layout that's possible.

#72: Definitly the use of letters and wors was perfect.. Besides "The lab"... in smapnish "Unica" means "the only one"... this turned out to be great.

I like the light bulb, bit what doesent quite fit in is the color used for "a Hybrid Think Tank" how would another color make it????

Please try other colors for "Hybrid Think Tank" and send me the one you -as a professional- like the most; The size is good but that color doesent stan out.
