Our Ideas & Additional Information
I'm attaching an old business card with imagery of the human form I want in this logo. I like that it's highly detailed and shows the individual muscles throughout. I want to keep this style of art in the logo for its half.

One of my main principles is when the client is physically ready to take their body to the next level we can begin sculpting it into whatever they desire. For this reason, I would like to see a form behind "The BodySmith" that is a simple depiction of an average male body on the LEFT and a highly detailed, extremely muscular body on the RIGHT side.

The left one can be a "suggestion" of the average body; a simple series of lines, something creative, but I'm picturing it simple and light. Not overweight or anything like that. Just average. I picture a very light logo on the left combined with a highly detailed, amazing logo on the right. Hope that's clear.

I do not own the copyright for the artwork on that card, but if I did I would want you to cut it in half and use it as-is. That's how much I like it so please duplicate it without infringing.

It's about transforming an average body to mine. Know that I am a professional bodybuilder. No, not everyone wants to be a bodybuilder, but my body represents the highest form of its development.

Important: The words "The BodySmith" should definitely pop from the artwork. I leave that up to your expertise as to how that's accomplished. Also, note that there is no space between the y of Body and the S of Smith. There is a space between The and Body. However, the "The" doesn't have to be on the same horizontal line; sized the same, anything like the "BodySmith" portion. I'm open to your ideas which is why I'm here! :)

Thank you for the designs so far.

The left half side should be very simple. So far the sample "regular guy" is more muscular than an average man who hasn't been in a gym. Please show non-developed musculature. Also, there is no requirement to show the entire top to bottom side of the art style I submitted.

Let's see what you have! I don't want to limit creativity!

I removed the photo of me because I don't want it to be used for the design. Please use my old business card. Simple lined Half non-developed body on left. Fully developed, muscle lined on the right. It's about showing where a person is and where they can be. I'm looking for a definite contrast between the two sides even though they flow together. Even the style of lines can be different.

Thank you for the submissions!

To the finalists: I just uploaded 2 sketches to help you. I am looking for contrast between the left and right sides. My current #1 choice shows the body fading to the background some so that the lettering stands out. I like this idea... Whatever you need to do to have the lettering pop.

I like sporty, college type lettering for "BodySmith". As noted in the sketch, they can be 2 different styles as far as outline vs. block vs. colors, etc.

The slogan "Anybody can be a BodySmith" does NOT have to be included, although I like seeing options where it is. As long as it doesn't take away from design or The BodySmith.

Thank you!
