Thad Strange,DMD,MSLogo Design Contest

there was one logo some where that had an elepahant with tusk that was pretty cool ...How this would work for safari hunting endodontist???

Is there something else that I could add to get the ball rolling ???

I am going to submit one as soon as i can.. usually you'll see designs rolling in really quickly once there are about 2-3 days left on the contest.

Liking the concepts alot .....would like more of an actual profile shadow outline.....of me ...I am trying to upload a picture ...It will not let me do it . #1 . I will see if I can attach to an email .

What about putting Thad's image that is in #5 ..and put it in #1 ?

#5 Love the Font Layout and Image design of Thad ............But Tend to like the colors and image of #1 ......How could we combine that design??

#8,7 , 9 needs to have DMD ,MS Bolder and Bigger ..............Flowood Endodontics ....needs to be bolder
#6 ..Looks a bit too much like Indiana Jones ........like the font on the original one.

Ok ............It looks like we just need to see what you creative minds come up with . ....We are getting mixed reviews on the theme. Thad does root canals for a living .........ewhhh......trying to come up with something besides a tooth that reflects soothing experiernce. The picture of Thad is right on in the Drawing #5 and #11 . However; it does not have to have a image of him ........Monogram S maybe in a soothing setting ..../what would you want to see ......if you were scared of having a root canal done???

I'm a little confused by this contest. Lots of themes to put together -- Thad's portrait, lions, Africa, root canals.

Is your last post asking to see alternatives to the african theme? Or no portrait?

Ok new designers........ trying to brain storm ....to be different than the normal tooth for a dentist The specialty here is root canals ..yuk ..a bad topic to begin with .... WE have tried to use picture of Thad and project calm and his interest in Africa. He is known for his white flowing hair ....I thought that might be something to work with . However; the staff is not totally convinced . Right now looking for any creativity regarding a unique soothing logo. . If you think pic ,silouhette imagery .....go for it ...he looks just like the image in # 5 If not .......do what you think would be good.

Suggestions.............from an artist friend of mine .

To me, none of those are logos. They seem more like T-Shirt designs. They seem to be taking your direction way too literally. Im not sure if thats what you wanted or not. I wouldn't use a photograph in a logo. And I would only use the African theme for a color scheme, or something abstract to compliment the logo.

#1 ............Try taking the logo man and the elephant out of it !! Love the color scheme and see what that looks like . An African sunset is very soothing .

Ok one more try ..........to compare to . What about focusing on FLOWOOD Endodontics

With a colorful landscape with a waterfall , flowing river ....................that sounds soothing ...uh???

so, no African theme now?
