TG Therapeutics - UNITY logoLogo Design Contest

I am clarifying that the logo is not needed for the company but for the Phase III Trial called UNITY. The logo will first go on the 1-page document attached in the brief (in the upper right hand corner) but could be used on other materials, in patient brochures, publications of data, website.

As I see it, your contest (https://logotournament.com/contests/tg_therapeutics) from which you took the image/logo placed on the top right corner is not completed. If that contest is still in Judging mode, you DO NOT own any submissions.

I suggest you complete the first contest before declaring ownership of any logos submitted. As far as I know, it is illegal to claim copyright when you don't actually own it.

Andrei - I will re-attach the sheet. The idea is that we will have multiple trials and the logo for that trial will go in the upper right hand corner. One trial may be named RUBICON, another named UNITY and another named GENUINE. For the logo selected, it will go in that box. I will reattach another draft of the company design we have with a different logo as placeholder if that is a concern. Please see updated contest brief.

Thank you to all entrants so far. There are so many great ideas already. We are a small biotech and have not been able to meet to review the entries to help me with the rankings and feedback. You will see that we have 3 contests running. This is because we expect to have more than one Phase III trial and company management requested the ability to see 2-3 concepts to select from for the first trial. All three contests will be awarded a winner and I anticipate using them for the trials. However, they are running in parallel to allow the CEO and COO to weigh in on the process while the decision are being made. I hope you understand and will be patient with me for feedback. We will be reviewing the designs as a group tomorrow in New York where I will be able to give very specific feedback, rankings and follow up for the ongoing process. General Feedback for all designers based on a team meeting yesterday: For UNITY, we liked a lot of the designs but there was no real lead and we are having a hard time ranking them beyond the bottom half that is not as interesting to us. We have a few comments as you refine or add designs. I will also go into as many of the designs as possible to give specific feedback today but have a plane flight for 6 hours and it may be this evening. 1. I emphasized the importance of the "U" for this, and that remins important. We LOVE, LOVE this trial name and see it being used for a series of Trials. 2. We plan to use and save the design for a future trial in 2015 that will combine Ublituximab (anti CD20 antibody) and another drug of ours called TGR-1202 (a PI3K delta inhibitor). t3. Therefore while the "U" is key the "T" is also very important. So...look to emphasize U and T and maybe there are way to connect the letters or symbolize "unity", combo drugs, unity with science advances.... 4. The overall request was also to see if some designs can incorporate science more but stay simple. I mentioned the type of drugs they are above - look at pulling from that, from the mechanism or that they act on the BCR receptor pathway, B-cell signalling. 5. As a company all of our compounds work on B cells...work to stop proliferation of growth signals. Finally - keep the prominence of the U and T without losing the word UNITY as you look at it. And the team likes the ability to add the company name but not the website. I cannot attach examples because I do not own the material, but we suggest that Ublituximab works as an anti CD20 antibody (look at shapes or info about that), it also is engineered which means it has a higher rate of NK cells inducing cell death. TGR-1202 is a PI3k delta inhibitor and is specific to that target. Lots of great images, videos if you google and search. Thanks!!!.

These are evolving slowly??? It is better but still feel like there is too much focus on the HEXAGON and not enough attempts to integrate science. Please re-read the notes above from earlier today.

I asked for an extension and somehow things are backwards - or got applied to the wrong contests. I have 3 contests for TG Therapeutics. For RUBICON, I already selected a winner (on Friday?) and today it was re-opened. I have gone in an ended it early and selected the winner again.

However, for UNITY and GENUINE, they were the ones to be extended in open phase by 24-36 hours. The open phase should have JUST ended this morning and be in Top 5 mode. However, it fast forwarded to judging and says to select a winner now. I am just ranking the top 5 after getting team feedback over the weekend. I have asked for BOTH contests - UNITY and GENUINE - to be set back to the top 5 mode? Thank you - Amy

The feedback from the team in friend feedback for the top 5 was very diverse. All over the place with no one clear lead. I encourage the top 5 to submit 1-2 more entries. I will send some individual feedback to guide.
