Dear designers,
We would like to have a strong Wordmark for "Terre-Bonne Park". Think the old MICROSOFT Logo, Not the new one! So please find the solution in the Typography (Fonts). In case we use a graphic detail than we do not want a fantasy one but something that resembles either the way the office buildings are located on the site or maybe an office building.

In case you use a graphic detail Logo try placing it above cenetered above the text or the graphic detail on the left and then "Terre-Bonne" on the right and "Park" placed under "Terre-Bonne".

We think that the font for "Terre-Bonne" should be bigger and thicker. If you can please go to www.nemaco.ch and download the PDF Brochure (I can not upload it because of max file size). In the Brochure you will find a nice impression of the mock-up of the buildings. You will see that 5 of the buildings are built in one line and the buildings have a nice pattern with bigger H-formed buildings and somewhat smaller I-shaped buildings. Perhaps this form can be an inspiration for the logo.

Please go to WWW.NEMACO.CH and download the Brochure. When you have the Brochure kindly have a look at the Artist Impression of the complete Building Site. Max K. had obviously googled and looked at the website given his design #73 where he used the rythm of the buildings in his logo. We like this direction and would like to see some more ideas along that line. Perhaps from a street view angle...

I just uploaded the most important page from the brochure into the Brief. If you can, please have a look.

Thank you all,
Philip

maybe anyone would like to do something with the "N" from the "Nemaco" logo. Nemaco is the developer of "Terre-Bonne Park".

If you go to www.nemaco.ch you will find the "N".

I will upload a more detailed image of the "N" asap.

Bye,
Philip

Dear designers,

On request of the client I would like to ask you all to (at least for now) focus only on the text ":Terre-Bonne Park". Forget about the graphic detail, please focus solely on the text so we get a strong wordmark (think the old Microsoft logo).

Thanks,
Philip

Philip,

is the hyphen required in "Terre-Bonne"

Hi Scott, I am not completely sure but I believe that the client wants to include the hyphen.

We are still looking for even stronger WORDMARK style logo's for Terre-Bonne..

Hello,

Would you be so kind as to clarify for Designers how you are defining "stronger wordmark"....? What exactly are you defining as "strength"..? That is a highly subjective term, so any concrete, tangible examples of what that thought is meant to convey would be helpful.

We thank you in advance for providing this information to all Designers.

Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for this question. The client (Nemaco, the company who developed Terre-Bonne, the site/location) told me that they like 'a strong wordmark like the old Microsoft logo'.

At first we were receiving quite a bit of entries with simple, thin, less significant fonts and almost always a graphic detail (many times a fantasy one). So we asked if we could receive some entries with what we tried to describe as stronger wordmarks. Perhaps meaning a bit bulkier, maybe louder, thicker font and something done/altered to one or more of the letters to make it special. To make it stand out.

Does this explanation help you in some way? Hope so. Good luck, looking forward to your ideas. Best, Philip
