What We Do
This is a real estate development umbrella company. It would serve as the operating company for different properties. For example, this company could design, build, own and 4 different residential subdivisions, an RV park, and an office building, etc. The target audience is anyone in the real estate industry, both commercial and residential. This refers to owners, developers, realtors, construction companies. The purpose of this logo is to be quickly understood as someone in the real estate world without having a "building" as the icon. The brand name means "I have the land" in Latin. We want it to feel like the earth, while also showing off some development within the land.
Blues, Greens, Terracotta -- think elements of the earth (earth, wind, fire, ocean) with earth as #1 element. Not all colors need to be used. But they can if applicable. Earth tones are great. Using black or navy as typeface colors may work as well for some contrast with the icon.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
"I have the land" is the brand name meaning. We want it to have very earthy roots, but from that comes the development. Harmony between modern people living within earth/nature. The earth can be developed in a meaningful way that is both positive to humans and nature.
Elements of construction within nature (i.e. road through the trees)
Mixing logo within typeface
Love the use of negative space
Keep it Florida based - basically that just means no mountain imagery
Avoid construction-looking logos, i.e. buildings, houses, etc. We do not want the traditional, tired look of the construction industry.
Avoid leaning too eco or adventurous - we don't want it looking like an outdoors brand or an agricultural company
