Our Ideas & Additional Information
http://tough.conroeisd.net/
This is the school website that should help with the colors. We want something different and fun, that does not look like the school logo as we are trying to brand the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) to give it more appeal and pizzaz to the parents and community. We have done photo shoots with the kids with a "construction like" theme with hard hats, ladders, pom-poms to depict "Team Tough", but we are very open to different and creative ideas as well as having some sort of a mascot attached. Example: Cute Kids, etc.

Thanks so much for all of the design submissions here!!! We are hoping for something that definitely communicates more of a "kiddy" and kid-friendly feel than some of what is here, so keep that in mind when designing for this contest! Clean and classic block letters could be nice, and don't be afraid of sketching kid faces or something fun like that or using shapes that represents kids coming together or a community coming together such as the united way logo.

Example 6, 7, and 5 say "St. Patrick's Day" to me. I don't get the green hard hat as it relates to our school or the PTO. The whistle invokes PE and team sports which if fine. I like the look of example 2, but since this is to brand our PTO it should include a reference to that. Also, a pictorial reference of "woods" or a forest might be interesting to tie in with our locale. And what about encouraging people to "Join the Team". This is a good start. Thanks for the submissions - keep 'em coming!

I really like example #10 - it's my favorite! Love how "Tough" is prominent. Like the blather under the triangle. Like the people images in the triangle.

Thanks smr*design for submitting.

For #3. Any way to also add a child/figure somehow looking like they are pulling or pushing the letters to the right or left of them. Might emphasize the "Tough" in the words Team Tough. Also can we tie in the phrase "Parents, Teachers and Community working together to raise Tough Kids" ? Thank you again for all of your effort.

The colors of #13 and #14 are right on! Also, the general look here is perfect. It looks kiddy, but definitely professional enough with capability to be longstanding...

I agree with the reviewer who said #13 and #14 colors are right on. Examples #16 and #17 make me laugh for the misspelling. Assuming a corrected spelling of "Tough", I like the design of #17 better than the construction diamond of #22. We could always get the colors corrected on design #20 - which I also like. Keep that in mind when ranking designs; colors can be easily corrected.
