Personally like to thank you for taking the time to read the brief. What I can see it seems like you've taken some time to really analyze the drawings are illustrations that are then provided to get a better feel for what I'm looking for in this logo. Thank you very much for that effort.
The logos that you have submitted are very good for shoe company and certainly you've taken my direction on that, however, this logo design is also to be used for vitamin supplements and medical equipment. So what I think we can do is trying to take a look at the elements of the illustrations provided such as the attachment of the leaf spring to the extension spring and see if we can't find an element that's a little more close up rather than the entire lower half of the shin down to the foot.
What also might be interesting is to have it as a more symbolic meaning as the extension spring propulsion mechanism lifting a leaf spring that appears to be a foot however it's mechanical and origin and highly suggestive of a human body part. But looking at his basic biomechanics or the application of engineering to the human body. If we can capture the application of precision engineering as applied to the human body in a symbolic form we will have something.
Also what I was thinking is that you can try another design of the logo with the foot or leaf spring component being a more metallic shiny object perhaps in a tone like the Apple logo in the blue with the sheen that it possesses and the extension spring being an actual metal spring that shines like it's an actual metal spring glistening with the shadows. I think you know what I mean but I will be willing to clarify this for you because so far your probably closer on this logo then the rest.
I think that the only difficulty with this concept that I was presenting up above in the last paragraph is fact how can you show these metallic objects and the sheen with stitching on a shoe. I think they be what I am looking at on these logos is that the blue collar has a bit of them dull tone to it in three of the Logos as opposed to the darker tone and that's what doesn't allow it to stand out as well as it could. maybe if you brightened up the blue similar to logo on the teamdoctors.org website sample logo it might help brighten up the appearance of the logo.
I will work with you throughout this entire contest to see if we can't put something together on this logo to allow you to win. After you present your next logo please send me a private message and I will get back to in my thoughts to see if we can pull this together for you.
Thank you so much for all of your efforts and hope you win.
I have uploaded some variations of the design. I will work on some new concepts Monday. I really appreciate your detailed feedback and will try my best to work them into the new designs.
I like what you are doing. Lets go with these engineering components in the foot.
1. Leaf spring - Your previous leaf spring should be more like the leaf spring in the illustration I provided
2. Extension Spring - that is the spring from around the front of the foot to the back of the calf (shrink the calf length) It must extend under the leaf spring like the illustration
3. The shin bone - Use the same bone as the illustration
4. Put the foot-ankle in a box -
5. Some propulsion - Show these arrows that show the descent of the body starting from the upper left corner of a box extending down at a 45 degree angle, then bend it to land in the center of the base of the box. This is also in the center of the midfoot. The foot cannot land on the heel. It must land on the midfoot with the heel slightly angled as if it is in the push off phase. Then that line heads up at a 45 degree angle towards the right upper corner of the box but because of the gravitational pull it curves down and ends up in the middle of the right margin of the box.
6. Team Doctors Words - They fit under this second line that starts at the base of the box in the middle to the right.
7 What we are showing is the impact of landing and spring off the ground
We are close. No matter what happens with the contest I want this for something but lets try to help you win the contest There is another designer that is close as you can see from the contest.
Take out all the colors on either side of the image and lets just go with the box and the image What we may do is eliminate the box later once you have the precision drawn image with the movement analysis of the foot landing and spring off done The leaf spring can be in metal shades and so can the limb but try dark blue I still like the metal as the general public will love the reference as they get machines but dont get the body I can pull in many more John Q Public to my message if more "get it" right from the logo
The leaf spring cannot turn up in the front by the toes as you have it That is what kept your design from a winner It really needs to be a mechanical leaf spring so lets go with something more mechanical and 3 D as the illustration provided
The line comes from the top left corner, down through the foot into the middle of the square at the bottom, then it bounces through the mid foot initially at a 45 degree angle but curving down because of gravity pulling to the middle of the left margin of the box
You lifted the foot off the ground in mid air You did not put the line at the top left of the box You did not extend it through the mid foot (impact point)
Let me know if you have any questions and lets make that line white
Hi. I apologize for not fully understanding your requests. I'm afraid I got a little confused. I followed your last feedback which pointed out what I did not do...which helped a lot. I uploaded some designs based on it. Please let me know if I missed something or if I'm still not understanding something. Thank you for your patience.
Hi. Could you please let me know what "extension spring" is? I couldn't find it labeled in any of the image you uploaded.
Placing the arrow in front of the graphics covered too much of the details. If you don't like it being behind, I'll try some other ways. I'll also upload some variations with more of blue print look first thing tomorrow.
Hi. I uploaded some versions with blueprint concept as you requested, but "doncorvair" ranked 3rd now asked me to remove them because blueprint was his concept. I understand your design wants, but you can't ask a designer to use another designer's concept as it is against rules of LT.
I'll upload the versions without the blueprint background.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do.
1. The line starts at the upper left corner it starts heading to the opposite corner (right lower) but curves down 2. It curves down to the center of the baseline at the bottom 3 it starts at a 45 degree up but due to the force of gravity levels off at the Middle of the left margin
It does not head up at a 45 degree angle and stay at a 45 degree angle straight
Hi. Thank you for being patient with me explaining it again. I really hope I got it right this time. I have applied the instructed arrow to #223 - #225. They are the same arrow with different variations to show details under the arrow. I have also added a few other variations of arrows just in case I did not get it right.
Please let me know if you would like for me to make any further adjustments.
