We leave color choice to the designer; we don't want it too complex, though; black or grey + one or two spot colors is preferred.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Note that the name is a play on "appetizer". Though there is an obvious correlation with food, we want our branding to define it instead of rushing into a one-to-one relationship with food. So if it's not completely about food, what is it about? It's about: snacks, taste, bites, morsels, hunger, satisfaction, appetite -- basic needs, variety, trying new things, offering, and condensing large into small.
Note apps are used by touching the screen, so visuals that evoke touch, tactility will be good. We're interested in seeing both literal and abstract approaches.
