What We Do
We sell decision making software to business analysts. Our biggest industries are oil&gas and pharmaceutical industries though we are not industry specific. The software can be used in any business that needs to make significant, material business decisions (e.g., financial services, consumer products, manufacturing, etc.).

Color Preferences
We’d like to move away from the red & yellow currently in use. We don’t want to dictate a color, but would like the colors to convey strength and stability--this is the premium, mature, industrial-strength solution in the category--but not completely staid or boring.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Our only constraint on the logo design is we would like the new design to be an evolution from the old logo which we’ve attached. We refer to the image in the top, left of the logo as the “quads”. One way to achieve evolution would be to incorporate the quads or some form of the quads. The "new quads" don’t need to be the same size, relationship, or number of quads, they don't need to use the whole quad and the colors don’t need to gradate (in fact it is probably best if the colors don't gradate), etc.. There may be other ways to achieve evolution.

In the where will our logo be used response below, I checked signs since we will use it for a trade booth.

One thing I forgot to mention about our current logo that we don't like is the amount of white space it has (quads at top left, Software at bottom right). We'd like to minimize white space in the new logo. Also, anything that can be done to make the logo have a more compact aspect (i.e., not be so long and short). Thanks!

Thanks for your submissions! We probably won't want to use "Inc." in the logo, thanks. Sorry we didn't specify that up front.

I know it's pretty hard with the long company name, but I wonder if anyone can come up with something with a less extreme aspect ratio?

Thank you everyone, lots of great ideas here. We haven't been able to put our heads together on these yet due to the July 4th holiday here in the U.S., and expect we may need to extend the contest due to the holiday, but will post feedback asap. Thanks much.

hi everyone, thanks so much for your submissions. We needed to extend the contest because some of the key decision makers are on holiday, which is also why we haven't given a lot of specific feedback. We'll all be back on board in a few days and will coordinate our feedback then.

hi all, thank you for your work! a few quick comments/requests:

#12/13 could I see them with stronger colors?
#46/47 - could we try it with a heavier font that has a bit more presence?
#16 - could I see it with a less friendly font?
#1 - did you try it with any other colors/fonts?
#5 - could I see this with Syncopation a bit larger? I worry it might get a little lost...although I do like the subtle/sophisticated presence
#41 - anything you can tell me about the ball/sphere?
#39 - could I see it with a bit less friendly colors/font?

#12 - could we see it with the corners of the quads a bit less rounded? thanks.
